tats are just another means of expression. and generally speaking tats are not near as painful as most people make out. granted there are places on the body more sensitive to pain than others. the tats that i have it was more of a annoying poke over and over. and having to hold the body in a fixed position for a long period of time.

Um.. yeah, tattoos hurt.

Depending on where you get them done. My wrist, the bend of my elbow, under my arm, over my collar bone, the back of my head.. those all hurt a LOT.

Usually the people who say they don't hurt much just have them on the back of their leg or the outside of their arm or the small of their back. Or on their ass. for some reason that doesn't hurt, either.

Jasun for most of the people who get tats to be trendy the most obvious places do not hurt near as much as they make out is what I should have said.

You're right.. a lot of people really play it up.

I mean, I was in agony tonight getting that done but it was 2 hours on my chest, under my arm, down my side, over my sternum and just under my collarbone so I earned the right to squirm a bit...

I knew this guy that was working on getting one BIG continuous going from finger tip on one hand, up his arm, up over his shoulder, his back, to his other shoulder down the other arm, finally back onto his other hand.
Thing is, he got it increments, so he would go for three different sessions to the tattoo artist and each session, they would put on a parts of his tattoo. His first session looks like yours, so I can't tell if it's a new one over your entire arm/shoulder, or just your arm.

it's really cool and REALLY painful, but it looks sexy. Verry nice!
