This is one of my favorites: "The Wonder Years." Sadly, they don't make TV shows like this anymore.

For those of you younger JUBBers, "The Wonder Years" was a TV show filmed in the late 1980s/early 1990s about a man remembering his teenage years (late 1960s to early 1970s).

For those of you familiar with Southern California, the street scenes of the house & suburbs were filmed in Burbank, and the July 4th parade was filmed in Whittier.

Here the ending:

I Married Dora. The last episode looked like a cliffhanger, with the guy taking a job in another town, and boarding his flight to a new city. But then he came back out to the terminal, and...well, this happened.

I like that. :)

M.A.S.H
Bob Newhart
Mary Tyler Moore
Six Feet Under
Brothers and Sisters - a show that shouldn't have been canceled at all but...

i remember the newhart ending, it was very clever...they don't make them like that anymore.....

Best TV show ever and best ending ever. ..|

A few years ago Sam's Club had individual seasons on DVD for $18 each and I bought them all. I've watched the show beginning to end at least 5 times. My all time favorite show.

Newhart - brilliant in joke

MASH - still brings a tear to my eyes

St. Elsewhere - a total surprise

Wonder Years - when I saw the topic I did not think of Wonder Years - but it was a great way to end a fantastic show

I remember the stories going around about how the show was going to end. The most popular was that Dick was going to get bonked on the head with a golf ball, fall and smack his head, and die. The final scene was for Dick to be talking to God (George Burns). I'm glad they didn't go that route. Suzanne Pleshette was much funnier.

How great would it have been if Mary Tyler Moore ended with her waking up next to Dick Van Dyke. (*8*)
