Nate Silver commented that Trump's strategy seems to be to make the debate a mess and fight for a draw. Which he observes is a poor strategy for someone who 7 points behind in the race.

Every time I hear that it makes me sneer at the fucking hypocrisy, like the one about how he's an excellent businessman, or the one about all that piety.
 
They need to turn Trump's microphone off when it's Joe's turn to talk. The interruptions are ridiculous and unprofessional. (but, when has Trump ever been professional? :rolleyes: )

:lol: true, that's what he wants, but the few stragglers still tuning into this fiasco would applaud it. You know tomorrow the only thing the "fake media" will be talking about will be Trump's interruptions, not about any substance....what little there has been of that.

We are living in a Barnum and Baily world. Unfortunately. I love a good side show - and frankly the tangerine toad is not the cause of that, he's just the bearded, hairy fat lady we ended up with.

If anyone knows any "undecided" voters, he knows that they are not undecided. Most of them are conservative by any definition. The ones I know I'd categorize as Libertarians. I've never met a Libertarian that would comfortably call himself a liberal or progressive.

They are for little to no government, which is espoused by the Tea Party and their ilk.

Most are smart enough to be dubious about Trump's kowtowing to the Russians, and are not comfortable with his pro-religion rhetoric. The majority of anyone declaring to be undecided at this point are clearly going to vote Trump if they show up at all.

Wallace has been a failure as a moderator.

Whoever hosts the next one needs to have the power of mute over the microphones.

This debate has lowered the image of the president and the Democratic nominee by exposure. When they are wrestling and shouting, it doesn't look like a statesman.
