Big Brother 13 CBS

The best way to win a game like this is to have a few insufferable assholes on your side. Their lack of reason helps to direct them to make irrational decisions against their self interest and their annoying nature makes them easy to beat in a jury.

Yeah but Boogie and Rachel were both insufferable assholes who still managed to win.

On a completely different note...I'd like a picture of Ian in his dog suit.

Ian said, "I went into the HoH room to see what my options are." I guess playing the game wasn't one of them.

At the competition, Ian says that he's throwing the competition because he doesn't want to be in an awkward position. Let me get this straight: he doesn't play the game and he throws competitions. What the fuck are you there for?

Next year, they should put people in the house that owe more money on their homes than the homes are worth. That way you know people will really try to play the game.

This is pathetic.

AND no more fanboys please. Regan was a fanboy but he actually played the game. Ian isn't cute. He's a complete waste and the storyline of him having a crush is bullshit. Toss him out with the trash please.

I'd love to be Allison Grodner for 5 minutes. I'd storm out during this Power of Veto competition tonight and interrupt it say, "Ian, body spray tanner, southern belle, Wil, latina lesbian: pack your shit and get the fuck out the house, you wastes of spaces."

Is there anything worse for a Janelle fan than to have Frank and Booger doing their Will/Booger laugh and roll? In leaving the broadcast show tonight I just felt ridiculously low. Do I watch tv for feelings like that? After that Danielle/ Booger convo last night on AD I thought I had hit tv low, but tonite lowered that way low.

Because their top banana (Will and Jorff) where taken out at the last minute leaving them as the remaining, though less exciting, representatives of the more generally favored factions. Dan is the top banana in this arrangement so he'd expected to make it to the end and win by being the more respected, more liked, brain of the organization... though that didn't work out too well for Danielle Donato.

That being said I think the better play, as much as I hate it, is to nix Janelle. Boogie and Frank are cohesive enough that they'll present as a threat where no one from Janey's team really comes off that way and they'll all turn on her in a minute. Plus Brit/Dan/Dani/Shane have an in with Ian that Boogie doesn't know about and isn't counting on. I get the vibe that of that grouping Ian's much more likely to want to pair with Dan then the showmance, which given the winning and showmanceness will present as a target. Also I could conceivably see Dan on the block with Dani or Brit (Shane not so much). Each occasion he'd take the victory. All and all I'd say that Ian is playing the best out of the new bunch. He's positioned to swing between Boogie and Team Dan/Brit. Janey's team are sitting ducks waiting to be picked off or maybe assuming Brit/Dan and Boogie will be at each other's throats next week but I think they'll be a week of fake playing nice.

Danielle is some sort of awful combination of Ivette from BB6 and Diane from BB5.

That is all.

that edit last just disgusting. They did not show Dani being the nut case that she revealing to be on the live feeds.. They did not show the ridiculous bashing on the part of Brit ( please do not get me started on her game play) and the fact she is the one that sent Booger up to the HOh in the 1st place. Ihave a feeling the ratings are going to take a dip.

Let's hope that the ratings dip even more and it leads to the firing of Allison Grodner. Ratings are down by 1.5 million viewers since last year.

Like I said, she's Batshit Crazy AND Crazy for a Guy. BB used to cast only one of each per season, but ever since Natalie on BB9, we've had women who fell into both categories. BB10 Michelle, BB11 Lydia, BB12/BB13 Rachel and now BB14 Danielle all represent this depressing type the producers are casting each season to satisfy the lowest kind of entertainment (i.e. so feedsters can gawk and laugh at them).

I dont understand the love fest with Janelle. I just dont, and will be glad when she is out the door. That being said, the next duo that has to be broken up is Frank and Mike.

That being said I think the better play, as much as I hate it, is to nix Janelle.

Actually I think you can make a case that the Dr. Will play (keep Janelle around for a few weeks because she's the mother fucking target of all targets) would work better for Dan here because Boogie and Frank have talked several times (since Operation Backdoor Janelle was enacted) about how they want to go after Dan first and then Britney. This is actually one time when I don't think Dan read the situation right. It could still work out for him but this wasn't his best move. Boogie and Frank are very much capable of winning HOH and they know about the plan to blindside Frank last week. The smarter move was Dan's first instinct: evict Frank which then forces Boogie to work with Dan cuz he has no one else. Even if Boogie was pissed about it he would still have no other choice. Giving him what he wants doesn't make him closer to Dan, it just gives him another choice, his #1 guy, which actually conflicts with Dan's ability to control Boogie.

I have no idea why Dan thought Boogie & Janelle's inability to work together was bad for him. I understand it's bad for a cohesive coach alliance, but that's actually GREAT for Dan. Remember in S10 how his alliance was against Jerry/Ollie/Michelle/April but Renny didn't trust Memphis and vice versa? Having a coach alliance where Boogie is totally dependent on Dan and Janelle trusts Dan more than Boogie would have been ideal for him. I'm surprised he didn't see that.

Also Frank is potentially putting himself in a great spot since he's talked to the newbies several times about going after the coaches. When Janelle goes this week, and if Dan and Britney go next, Frank could easily turn the house against Boogie and even then there's always Shane as a target to hide behind.

I think Dan wanted Janelle out but I think he knew that he couldn't keep her. His control over Danielle is actually relatively tenuous and she has a Nerd Herd like rage for Janey and was the one with all the power. Factor that to Mike and Frank chirping in her ear I think this was something that couldn't be staved off. Dani wanted to nominate Janey upfront and Brit and Dan convinced her not to.

That's not how it played out on the feeds. Yes, Dan had to talk Dani into not nominating Janelle, but once he got through to her, she was totally onboard the Evict Frank plan. Once Dan decided to backdor Janelle, he actually had to talk Daniele and Britney back into it. Granted this wasn't difficult for the reasons you said, but it's NOT the case where they kept fighting him to let them backdoor Janelle. They had all conceded to the original plan and were not opposing it. And Dan's control over Daniele is certainly NOT tenuous. Holy cow, he bossed her around during her HOH and she happily deferred to him the whole time. His hold over her is solid.

Furthermore, Dan only changed his mind when he saw Janelle and Boogie couldn't work together. Indeed, before Janelle and Britney sauntered into the coach's meeting, Dan was still actively trying to prepare Boogie to work with them after Frank was evicted. But when he saw Boogie and Janelle couldn't be brought he literally said, "Well that's never going to work" and changed his plan because he incorrectly thinks it's the best way to work with Boogie (when actually eliminating Boogie's #1 guy and keeping his biggest enemy as your friend would be the best way).

And that's why I think he's making a wrong move (atypical for him). Because Boogie and Janelle not getting along works to his advantage not to his detriment. We're both fans of Dan, but unfortunately he has this idea of Chilltown and wants to win the game under the conditions that he is Chilltown 2.0 i.e. that he is the new Dr. Will (that's why he told Frank "Are you ready to roll with two of the best winners?"). And I think that's clouding his judgment a bit. The myth of Chilltown, its cool factor, is proving to be Will's strongest mark on this game. So strong that even when he's not there, it gets people to do things.

Willie has probably gotten his ass thrown back into jail already .

Janelle watching like an unflappable badass while Boogie gloats in his goodbye video and then dryly saying, "He's such a loser" was the highlight of the season for me thus far. Also:

"I'm rooting for Dan cuz I love Dan. Who doesn't?"

Even evicted, she still has her head on straight. God I fucking love this bitch. The season will be less entertaining without her.
