Big Brother 13 CBS

Um, the rigging happened before he started winning a lot of competitions. He only won 1 before they rigged it and canceled his eviction.

Yeah he was acting like a little bitch. He'll get a pass from Dan fans though because he's Dan.

And we see the real, asshole Dan that's behind all the niceties and fakeness. When it came to saving his own neck, he couldn't do shit. He's so pathetic he had to lie to people that he won the competition during the search for the Veto ball during Pandora's Box. What does that provide? About a brief, 3-second pause in their search for balls with quarters in them?

On a more interesting note: Frank is looking good. He needs to hold a guy like this.

Frank maybe looking game good but personally I think he has too much Boogs in him. He sulks, pouts, rants, raves, is irrational in his decisions and is a bully. That does not make a person look good to me. Maybe he is playing the game but he is a great big asshole in doing it the way he does it.

For sure. But Frank also knows he's toast and that he's in this game by himself. And add insult to injury, besides Shane, he's the only one playing. So it's likely that a floater will get him out of the house. I'd be a little grumpy too.

Whether you like him or not, if it were held today, Frank deserves to win the game.

He's a likable version of Rachel.

Shane has won a lot but he has no personality and doesn't really know what he's doing.

Ian is likable but goofy and nervous and wants to just float to the end.

Dan/Joe/Jenn/Danielle/Britney...waste of air time (except Britney is socially entertaining)

JENN USED POV ON DAN!

BRITNEY WENT UP AS REPLACEMENT!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I dare anyone to say Dan isn't a great player now. He was dead in the water and he got his arch nemesis (Frank) to work with him and a floater who didn't like him (Jenn) to use the POV on him.

One of the best comebacks EVER.

Why is Frank even playing this game? He wanted Dan out. The fake lesbian gets him off the block even though it'd hurt her game (he's better than she is or any of the floaters). And Ian, the backstabber, has immunity from nomination. WTF?

He should walk out of the house. He played like someone who's unemployed needing that $500,000.

I want it to now go officially on the record that just as BB producers saved Frank at the beginning, they also took away an HoH from him because he couldn't nominate the guy that just backstabbed him.

My only regret was that Frank couldn't nominate that weasel Ian like he wanted to. GOD I'm enjoying Ian losing his shit and going off on Frank. The kid really thought he was running shit in the house. Did he really think he could best Dan? LOL.

I hope Dan/Frank/Danielle/Jenn can win the next HOH and get Ian the fuck out of here. I'm sick of watching him.

Dan knew that Frank was desperately looking for someone to work with - and he took advantage of the opportunity. This was epic. I hope Dan plows through the rest of the house now and wins. Gotta give him credit for turning things around.

I love ian and am glad he has the nerve to do big stuff. I wouldn't want to be around him for a long time because he is a nervous guy but he can play and is a lot better than that idiot who played with Jessie.

And Frank is a dumb as his accent and bushy hair that he keeps gently pushing to the side for falling for Dan and his outing of Brit, Ian and Shane.

Brit was the first to go to Frank and offered an alliance and threw Dan and Danielle under the bus telling Frank to nominate them. It back fired on her and now she will possibly be out just as she was in her season. She can't play with men and she should have known better than to evict Janelle.

Dan did the damn thing, but Frank should still be wary of him. None the less, I do hope Frank and Dan can actually be a honest alliance at least to the final five

Another season of a male winner, no doubt.

So Britney must be livid. How many tears can see cry?

It's too bad she was allowed on in the first place. Hayden Moss won her season and hasn't even been asked back. Hayden used and abused her that season and she was completely oblivious to it.

Crap, Dan and Frank are on the same alliance. The two people producers want to win most. I hope Britney stays and Shane/Britney/Ian/Joe form an alliance and take out Dan/Frank/Jenn. Let me guess, Pandora's box will screw this alliance to benefit Frank and Dan if one of these 4 win HOH next week. Danielle was actually my 2nd favorite after Shane but she needs to go. I guess I'm the only one on here not rooting for the Dan/Frank/Jenn/Danielle alliance.

The only reason people hate Ian so much is because Dan turned on him. Ian didn't do anything to Dan, he only stayed loyal to his Quack Pack alliance and did stuff FOR him. He told his alliance Boogie/Frank were trying to backdoor Dan and he told his alliance they wanted to nominated Shane and Britney. Those are pretty much the only moves he made in the game and everyone reports back to their alliance to try to keep them safe so they aren't even big moves. Dan was being a little bitch saying he was taking all the heat for Ian when he should. Ian told Dan they were going after him to protect him. Otherwise they would've kept Boogie and then Boogie/Frank would've gotten rid of Dan and Frank/Boogie would still both be in the game.

I think Ian "turned on him" when he chose not to take Dan off the block after Dan took all the heat for Boogie's eviction. Ian's more hated to me because he was more of a floater up until the Mike Boogie eviction week.

I just hope they vote Danielle out. She's boring. I love Britney.

Had they all just listened to Dan's initially plan they would've been fine. But Ian and Brit both failed to push Frank to put Joe up instead of Dani. I honestly thought it was the right play for them at the time because, honestly who could've expected this. But I really don't think they have a right to be indignant. They were about to send Dan out the door and Ian had the power to save him. Ian choose to side with Brit/Shane over Dan/Dani and it's costing Brit the game. Because if he had declared for team Dan, Shane/Brit could still buddy up to Frank like they had all week and it would be Joe on the block. Moral of the story is that Dan is a wizard. What's most mind boggling to me is that three people: Ian, Shane, and Joe want Brit to stay and yet everyone is still acting like she's dead in the water.... ummmm these people need to learn to count.

I'd say the most amusing thing to me is Brit, Shane, and Joe (who still has no idea he was never actually part of an alliance) sitting out back complaining that Dan already won so he shouldn't be trying to stop them from winning.... ummmm.... what's the point of him even playing then? When you play a game to win, you play a game to win. Period.

Dan's initial plan to put Joe up wasn't realistic. It wasn't happening. Frank decided he wanted to break up the 4 and that one of them would be going home since they're the tightest group in the house and seemed unbreakable. They were ok with Dan going home because if not him it would be one of them and he already won $500,000 before. About the Ian not using it thing, I explained in the post before this. If he used it, Britney his biggest Ally would go home since Jenn won POV not Britney or Shane.

No falconfan is right. Aside from the plan to have Shane/Britney win POV and use both POVs (which Ian nixed by being so reluctant to use his veto), Dan's initial plan was to have Dan and Joe approach Frank separately about putting up Ian, which would raise Frank's suspicion that Dan and Joe were working together (Dan had already convinced gullible Joe to make this pitch). Then Ian would talk to Frank since they were cool at the time, Frank would tell Ian what Dan and Joe tried to do, and Ian would sell the idea that Dan and Joe were in a secret alliance. This all could've worked because Britney and Shane had already approached Frank about a new deal and he'd decided to work with them. If they all convinced him that Joe was Dan's secret #1 ally, he would've been more amenable to putting Joe up.

But Dan realized quickly that plan would never work because it required all the Quackers to play their roles and instead they were all scrambling to save themselves, not the alliance. Which is totally fine and a valid game move, but then they can't be all pissy and self-righteous that Dan chose to do the same thing (in response to their play no less) and wound up being better at it than they were.

He didn't have to make his whole alliance cry and feel sorry for him and then throw them under the bus and turn on them. None of it was neccessary.

He was 100% walking out the door on Thursday and his Hail Mary ended up vetoing him off the block so...yeah I'd say it was pretty necessary.

Frank would've put up Joe if he was handled properly. I think Dan pretty much proved that Frank could've been manipulated into changing his mind. He thought he had a clear view of what he was doing with this HOH and he did the opposite. It all has to with perception and the state of mind that someone is in when you approach them. That's what all that mind fakery with the 'funeral' was about, and it was what it has proved is that Dan is able to do the psychological and social strategy that's needed, and that most people can't pull off. Anyone could've walked up and said 'let's make an alliance' once they're on the block. In fact most people try. But because of the perception (that the nominee is scrambling, desperate, insincere) that doesn't normally work. Dan put out the perception he wasn't strategizing anymore by acting like he was throwing in the towel and drained all day. Then he proved to Frank that he had no other allies by pissing the ENTIRE HOUSE OFF. This put Frank in the mental space to know Dan was ready to make a big move, Dan wasn't just BSing him for one week. Dan HAS to commit to Frank because of his 'funeral' and Frank knows that. Most importantly the forced commitment occurred BEFORE Dan tried to deal so Frank's social read of the situation was that Dan was a desperate honest outsider, had he not pulled his defeated funeral routine Frank would've been viewing him as a manipulative mastermind when Dan walked into HOH.

Now Dan's initial plan, after Frank won HOH before the power was revealed was complex, but easy to comprehend. He wanted to convince Frank that the lay of the house was as follows. Brit/Shan turned on Dan/Dani/Joe and paired up with Frank. He planned on following Joe, talking strategy with him, in public and generally buddying up to him. Dan knew that Frank would want to put Dan's two biggest allies up and he needed perceptions to be that those two were Dani and Joe. Frank also needed to believe that Dan/Joe were scapegoating Ian who had actually been on Frank's side all along. Brit/Ian/Shane didn't want to go along with that plan because they feared Pandora would give Frank a power that he could use on them if she screwed him over. So they decided (not unreasonably) that it would be best to just cut Dan off and count the loss. I can't blame them for it but had they worked, in concert with Dan to create the social landscape he needed them to help create in Frank's mind they'd all still be there.

Unlike Brit, Memphis would work in tandem with Dan like this all the time. I mean in season 10 Dan nominated Memphis not once but TWICE because he needed people to perceive they weren't close and they both knew it. Memphis would hang out with Jerry and hide most his contact with Dan. Dan really wasn't planning his former alliance over until they decided to cut him out. He could've sold them out before noms if that were the case. He waited to see if there was any way at all to salvage the entire Quack pack.
