Big Brother 13

Dick was right. Daniele went stupid. She could've coasted with the vets much longer.
She was playing on a strictly personal level.

Jeff was obnoxious until the very end but nice eyecandy.

Adam was even more doofus last night. What a piece of shit. Why he ever told Rachel he'd vote for her to win if he was evicted is beyond me. Was that his move to make sure he was evicted?? Of course, then he didn't vote for her to win but that's beside the point.

Shelly. What a mess. Although she did put personal feelings aside in the end and vote for the best competitor.

Brendon was the only adult in the jury house.

Congratulations Rachel. You deserve to win this awful season.

The votes were as follows:

Jeff: Rachel
Jordan: Rachel
Brendon: Rachel

Shelly: Rachel

Daniele: Porsche
Kalia: Porsche
Adam: Porsche

What an awful finale. Why did they do it that way? Usually they have the final two living together in house, and the jury questions them then. Last night just felt rushed and incomplete. Didn't talk to half of the houseguests.

Actually, this is the third straight season where they've had the last jury member evicted on finale night and then proceeded to have live questioning before the vote. However, BB11 and BB12's finales got two hours because they didn't have extended premieres of Survivor on the same night.

^ Thanks. I knew something other than Survivor premiering on the same night was different but couldn't think of what.

Rachel winning is bittersweet only b/c my favorite BB player of all-time Janelle never got to win. It might not make sense. But there is something unfair to me about Rachel winning and Janelle not winning.

I know what you mean.

I would love Janelle to come back, but I heard some rumor that she was pregnant or something and I honestly think it would be next to impossible for her to make it to F3 again unless she came in with a fair amount of allies.

Wouldn't it be great to have seen how the newbies would have played against each other rather than against all star couples?

At least Rachel got her win and only by an act of Grodner in sending Brenda back in. Dani had to evict that prick twice, and because he came back the 2nd time gave him a jury vote.

Adam still makes me want to bash his ugly bald head into his stupid as fuck ass. A nothing man on a national tv show with a nothing personality.

I still despise Jeff and do wonder where a gay man's moral compass is if he desires a man like Jeff who thinks you are a pedophile? Baffles the fuck out of me.

How come you never see any of the past hgs in the audience when the finale or even when the show airs? Do they never invite them?

only 9 months to go until next season.

Lydia from BB11? said if you're a previous HG you're not allowed to be in the audience during the regular shows. I don't know about finale.

:=D:  now off to Survivor land we go

At the end of last night's show, when credits are rolling, Porsche asks Adam why he voted for her and he says, "I knew it wouldn't matter."

The jury members, apparently during commercial breaks before the vote, told Adam that Rachel would win. So he changes his vote....because he could...I guess.

Note to CBS:

Not all of us like "all star" editions of these shows. Please stop doing this now. These "returning house guests" had their chance and DO NOT deserve a second shot at the money.

Next year I want to see a completely new cast, no leftovers.

Thanks for listening.

It happened just as I suspected. Porsche should have voted off Rachel instead of Jordan when she had the chance.

Rachel was way too strong a player for either Porsche or Adam. This error costed her $450,000.

Not all of us like them, but I like this season a hell of a lot more than last season and BB has had it's best ratings in years, so they'll probably do it more often.

Maybe the way they are doing Survivor.

Well Jordan definitely would have won if she made it to the end. Although I wonder if Jordan would have beaten Adam in the second competition. I'm assuming Porsche would have won the first part of it.

Porsche voted Jordan out over Rachel because, she said, "Jordan has already won."
She and Rachel were also like bff or something.

It appears that Porsche resigned herself to the number 2 spot long ago.

Apparently, anyone who desires Rachel's friendship must resign themselves to second fiddle in EVERYTHING or face the kindergarten faces.

The producers thought "rocker guy that watches 90210! This has to be a winner!" Adam is anything but. Remember Brittany from season one? Purple hair, nose ring and SOMEHOW she was as bland as Pat Boone.

Adam started out as forgettable and ended up just as annoying as Gnatalie a couple of seasons ago: I thought this would be hard to accomplish.

And I love Adam's shameless self promotion. "See me on Big Brother All-Stars!" Really? Adam didn't play this season. Why should he be on another season?

Jeff will get his. Dickheads always get what's coming to them. He was so casually homophobic and shocked he offended someone. He probably only hears what he wants. Such a pathetic meat head.

I'm hoping the FCC raids CBS's office and arrests Grodner for rigging the show.

I don't mind the returning player seasons considering a lot of the duds that Survivor and Big Brother have been casting lately. I mean... BB12's cast was all new and mostly boring as hell, and the newbies this season were hit or miss too. Lostlover nailed it with his analysis of Adam. On paper he sounds like he'd be an interesting TV character. In practice, he was forced, unfunny and pretty much sucked except IMO for the 15 minutes Tori Spelling appeared.

You can have somebody who sounds interesting in theory like Adam turn into a borewhore in practice. On the other hand, you can have somebody who seems been there, done that and cliche, like blonde Playboy model Janelle, turning the season's challenge whore and fierce bitch. It's hard to tell what these people are going to be like on the show, so I can understand why they want the safety of a batshit insane yet still somehow perfect for TV contestant like Rachel.

I see this season as having three main twists: the Golden Key, the returning player, and the F6 duos. The main twist that benefited Rachel was Brendan coming back, which spared her eviction and gave her a 100% sure vote on the jury in case she got the finals. (In this case, it might have been the deciding vote, since we don't know what Lawon would have voted if all things were equal and he were on the jury over Brendan.)

The week that Porsche opened Pandora's Box, Rachel was the one who won the veto anyway, so it was Jordan who would have been gone that week. And then Rachel won the next HOH, too. So really, the duo twist coming back only affected Rachel's game indirectly at best. The third big twist of the season was the Golden Key, and Rachel didn't benefit from it.

Porsche, meanwhile, got three weeks free from the Golden Key and didn't even have to worry about the game until the jury. I'd say they were about even as they both benefited greatly from one major twist each.

The Golden Key twist was known about BEFORE the game started. The bringing a HG back was only there if a vet got evicted. (Hello, NEVER BEFORE has there been a HG voted back in by America to get AUTOMATIC JURY. It was ALWAYS one week before jury. Allison Grodner was saving it if a vet was evicted... any vet, including Dani.)

The week Pandora's Box was open? OK, so lets ignore the fact that the POV was designed for Rachel and never before has there been an endurance POV (which was an exact replica of the first HOH challenge except not a banana). Rachel won. That week, Porshe was HOH, Kalia and Shelly and Porshe had final 3. Shelly would never have went back to the vets if it weren't for Pandora's Box. That week, Jordan OR Adam would have gone home. The next week the HOH was a rip off of food challenges (where again, Rachel won). So, go to final 4 POV, Porshe would have still won. But, Adam or Jordan would have been evicted... along with Shelly or Kalia the next week (as Porshe would have won that POV). So at final 4, instead of having to evict Jordan, Porshe would have evicted Rachel. (Jordan would have either been evicted, or HOH... or Kalia would have been HOH and Jordan/Rachel/Porshe not and Porshe would have won leaving Porshe to evict Rachel so Kalia and Porshe could go to final 2).

Again, the two twists saved the vets, saved Rachel. Porshe should have won for that reason alone. But like I said when Brendon returned, it no longer mattered WHO WON this season, because it became a farce by producer manipulation. Only, we saw more twists manipulating the game.

The golden key was known about. Porshe didn't receive it. Her partner turned on her and he was evicted.

Well here are some interviews the douchebag Dick trying to extend his 15 minutes. He’s making half of all the interviews all about him. Douche Jeff addresses the Dumbledoor thing and tries to cover his ass. Nasty Dick is pretty much trying to grope Porshe. Hate that all these houseguests are kissing Dick’s ass like they’re afraid of him.

Kalia, I feel so bad for her. I heard Dick's been bashing her all season long on his stupid show calling her fat all the time and posting a leaked vagina pick of her over and over again and all kinds of nasty shit about her. Here he is in this interview being really rude to her and she doesn't even know how much he hates her. He’s also bashing Daniele a lot in these interviews. I feel so sorry for her having him as a father. As much as I didn’t like her in season 8, she turned out amazing being raised by him.

Dumbass Dick, Kalia wouldn’t have evicted Lawon if he was still in the house. Things wouldn’t have played out that way. If Dick stayed in the house Allison Grodner’s head would explode because she wouldn’t know who to rig the game for, Dick or Jeff.

BB9 begs to differ

The advantages Rachel gained from the two twists that benefited her could have been avoided if the opposite side of the house weren't playing stupidly. Just like the Golden Key twist, every active player KNEW that somebody was coming back into the house after Brendan's eviction. They could have gotten Rachel out only for her to come back in via Brendan throwing the challenge, but instead they chose to boot Lawon which resulted in both of Brenchel being alive in the game.

For me, I don't think the returning HG twist is something that should penalize Rachel's game, and the returning twist itself wasn't necessarily something that would have benefited her as directly and as positively as the F6 duo twist benefited Jordan. Dom and Cassi split votes; if they hadn't, Dom probably would have beaten Brendan which would have been a disaster for Rachel's game.

Similarly, Porsche was not FORCED to opened Pandora's Box. In fact, before Dani got evicted, she had specifically warned Porsche and Kalia NOT to open Pandora's Box if they were presented the opportunity. Dani almost certainly knew what was up and that a Pandora's Box would benefit Jordeff. Every single previous opening of Pandora's Box had a negative consequence, and as Matt's DPOV revealed, there was also a precedent that Pandora's Box could introduce something that has a major impact on the game itself.

And in spite of this, Porsche opened it anyway. That makes Porsche look less deserving of a win for making an obviously stupid decision more than it makes Rachel look less deserving of a win for indirectly getting an advantage from it, at least to me. Rachel was guaranteed final four at worst even without the Pandora's Box twist due to her POV/HOH wins.

But yes, the F6 POV was obviously tailored for Rachel. That's not something I'm disputing, but it wasn't a twist. It was also done more so that Rachel could save Jordan rather than so Rachel could save herself; in other words, that choice of POV was specifically made to ensure Jordan survived longer. Unfortunately, the competition variety (or lack thereof) is Grodbeast's obvious attempt to help her favorites without direct in-game manipulation, and it happened for Janelle, Dani/Dick and Jordan in the past.

Porshe was forced to open the box. She talked about it on the live feeds and the feeds were cut real fast because she acknowledged she "had no choice and had to open the box."
