Big Brother 15

I want Aaryn gone so bad, she's so vile. And right now Amanda is actually my favorite person in the house. Second to Elissa, I really love her too :D

I think Judd is becoming my favorite along with Helen and Elissa. Amanda and McCrae are beginning to look like each other. On AD last night when they were lying in the hammock I couldn't tell who was who.

There are certain aspects I like but by it's very nature it's going to wind up being ONE person all season (or for large chunks of the season) having a huge power that they didn't really earn. I honestly think it could've worked if they made it competition based. If instead of Have Not competitions they have an MVP competition it would actually be a really solid twist. It might be difficult because anonymity that's necessary for MVP to function. But as long as they make them individual timed competitions they can withhold the results and only inform the winner in a private DR later.

But in theory - they are earning it because America is supposed to be voting for the best player. For instance, certain people are running GREAT game, but it's only apparent to america and not to the other players inside the house (until later). I think it's a cool way to reward them for that without clueing in the other houseguests. Of course, as pointed out, it doesn't work when someone comes in with a built in fanbase.

It doesn't even work if they were all brand new. Jordan/Jeff for instance in their first season would monopolize the power. They played a horrible, sloppy, sloppy game that needed divine intervention to sustain itself but they're likable so they won the fan vote. And that's how people vote. No one cares about who's 'playing the best game.' They want to protect and reward the people they enjoy. Not to mention the public at large has to rely on an edited version of events so it's not like the subtle nuiances of real gameplay can be factored in. For instance they're trying really hard to make Helen and Elissa look like they're in charge but in reality Amanda/McCrae/Judd/Andy are really just putting up with them for the time being. You could argue that Amanda effectively decided the first two evictions but none of that would be apparent from a show edit.

He needs to get inside me.

And yes, the flaw of the MVP (and why I understand why people such as Sgt Pepper don't like it) is that America votes based on who they like, not who plays the best game. Maybe if it were like HOH, and the same person couldn't win it every single week, it'd be a little more interesting. But then again instead of Elissa every week we'd probably get Elissa and Helen alternating each week or something.

MVP would have been interesting this season if Elissa weren't there, though, since there wasn't really a cute inoffensive white man to serve as housewife bait like Jeff, Brendon, etc.

While Howard is an attractive man, he is a Christian and therefore is not allowed inside me at any time whatsoever, no matter how drunk I am, or he is or we both are. Jesus wouldn't want it for me.

Now Amanda and Mr. Amanda are forming alliances with people so we'll see how that goes. She and McAmanda conference in the have not room. She seems bemused and amused that Helen tells Jeremy so much and that Helen gives out names to Jeremy. McAmanda tells Amanda he loves her with a hhm. She ran her hand up his body and I turned away. She was molesting the pizza boy who I really believe she believes he is something more than a mere delivery guy unless she is just a horndog.

I think Amanda is doing the "get someone on my side out too quick" thing and then when it's really time to vote allies out she'll probably be at the top of the list. Mccrae is so whipped, I think Amanda must be the closest thing to a girlfriend he's had in awhile.

And another gem from youtube Wil from BB14 does BB15. The first one is blah. 2 and 3 are hilarious.

So much awesomeness this season. They're doing a "talk show" -- with the girls on a panel like The Talk or The View -- and at one point the topic was Love at First Sight and Candace referred to Amanda and McCrae as "love at first HOH."

BWAHAHAHA! Right between the eyes Candace!

Hmmm. Still trying to decide whether or not I am liking this season. Getting a little slow and boring. I really hope Jeremy goes home tonight!

I love this season. I watched Sunday's episode last night and it really had everything. Joy from Helen winning, rage from Aaryn and Gina Marie's actions toward Candice, laffos from Gina Marie crying over somebody who's already hooking up with some other chick in the real world, touching moments between Candice and Howard and then Candice and Helen, and Candice being the bigger person and consoling Gina Marie. <3 <3 <3 I think this is the most I've been invested in a season since BB11.

I totally just typed "Aryan" instead of "Aaryn" before going back and correcting it. Meh, same difference.

TVGN will air the previous weeks episodes of BB15 on Friday nights followed by BB AD. They will do catch up episodes also.

I'm loving this season too. The most enjoyable one for me since BB10.

Also I feel compelled to point out that today, yet again, Big Brother failed to become an Emmy nominee. ;)

Jeremy's post interview with Julie seemed like there's a chance he can come back.

I'm happy Judd won HOH. To me he is the most likeable in the house. Too bad he's Jesse's guy by default.
