Big Brother 15

Re: The Men of Big Brother 15

To me, Judd is more boring than watching paint dry.

I was reading about older big brothers and did anyone else know that Drew, the winner of Big Brother 5, is gay? He wasn't out on the show, but he's easily one of the hottest guys to ever be on Big Brother. So one of our own kind was able to win! http://survivorsucks.yuku.com/topic/19933/Drew-is-Gay

that article is jus speculation not confirmed nice pics though

A big eye roll and back again at defending a vile woman or man.

For the record, I wasn't referring to you joesman. As far as I remember, you were never a big fan of Dick Donato. I'm just commenting on the subtle sexism of a lot of online BB fans (on other sites mostly) who defended Dick's behavior but criticize Amanda's, even though Dick's aggression was borderline abusive and far more disturbing.

howard bulge

WOW thats a monster

I know Am is aggressive and I don't mind that she is but I do mind her holier than thou speech to Aaryian and then going right back to her when she is in power and doing almost exactly the same thing. I am aware that the dr is the one who prompted Am to go to Aaryian in the first place to tell her about the racism. Then Am sits in the HoH room with Aa and they do a whole racist number in talking about Candice. It is, to say the least, two faced on her part and on CBS' fault for not calling out all the racism - Spencer, Amanda whoever. They are playing Aa as if she is some vile despicable person for her comments and yet Am gets this lovely edit, and her campy dr sessions.

Then Helen has fallen into the Aa love circle, saying she is a sweet girl.

I so hope Judd wins. If he can get to final two I think he just might. He is a clever boy when you can understand him through the mumbles.

And CBS' ratings might fall again since TWC has dropped them and SHO. That is until some deal can be made. For now TWC customers have no CBS or SHO.

And for the record I hated Evil Dick.

I like Judd too actually and I think he has a GREAT chance of winning against anyone else in the F2. Judd and Jessie to me are a perfect example of what falconfan (in an older BB thread) termed active floaters vs passive floaters. They're both floaters in that they're not making waves, they don't seem like big threats, and they are able to permeate several alliances (note that Judd used his HOH to get rid of Kaitlyn, thereby leaving all the big targets to continue going after each other e.g. Elissa vs Arryn, Howard vs Amanda). But Judd is an active floater because he's willing to win a competition here and there and do just enough to give the appearance that he's doing something whereas Jessie is a passive floater because the perception of her is that she's riding Judd's coattails. Basically if Judd got to the end, he could easily win (like BB4 Jun or BB10 Dan) whereas Jessie would likely lose to anyone except Arryn (like BB5 Cowboy or BB7 Erika).

I think the perception of Amanda as aggressive -- and the frustrating gender double-standards that always seem to be in play on Big Brother -- would hurt her if she's in the finals against McCrae, Judd, Helen or even Spencer (certainly Howard) but she could definitely win against Jessie or Arryn which I think Amanda is aware of hence her closeness to Jessie and taking Arryn under her wing.

I have no idea what to make of GM or Candace's chances with a jury except to say that Candace will be lucky to even be on it and GM has a great chance of getting far in the game if she keeps being friendly and losing competitions.

Hello Everyone,

This is Ragan Fox. I was checking out my blog's analytics and saw some traffic from a gay-friendly looking site and decided to check y'all out. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I'd quickly like to respond to some common misconceptions about something I said in the house three years ago.

The African babies comment is something my critics either 1) to take out of context or 2) never witnessed with their own eyes. Context is everything, especially on a reality show. Every morning Big Brother plays music to wake up the houseguests. Best of all, they take requests. I spent 2 months in the house requesting music I like, such as Hole, Fiona Apple, and Liz Phair. They never played songs I requested. A few consecutive mornings they played U2, a band nobody in the house liked. Months before I went on the show, I penned a rant about U2's faux activism in Africa via the Product Red campaign. The thrust of my criticism was that U2 and companies like The Gap were engaging in false activism, hiking up product costs, passing the expense onto the consumer, and taking credit for AIDS advocacy. In the live feed clip, I told production that they had to stop playing U2. I said if they play U2 one more time I'd pull a reverse-Product Red. As a commenter on Reality BBQ noted directly after the event:

"What Ragan said was if they play U2 again, he is going to do the opposite of (Product RED), the campaign that Bono (lead vocalist of U2) started to combat AIDS in Africa. The opposite thing was going to Africa and start stabbing babies with an AIDS infected needle. Obviously it was said in jest, and he was making it clear that he doesn't like U2."

Lest you think this is revisionist history, you can check out the forum for yourself at http://www.realitybbqforums.com/showthread.php?12398-What-did-Ragan-say-about-African-babies

Finally, my admittedly bad joke does not disqualify my evaluation of racism and homophobia in the house. I'm not taking a "high and might stance" on the topic. I'm making what should be mundane, ordinary observations about ongoing, sustained hate speech in the house. If you're going to roll your eyes, you should have a nuanced understanding of why they're spinning.

Sincerely,

Ragan

PS, I'm happy to stick around and talk game. I love porn and I love Big Brother. :)

You may not have been racist or homophobic but you were definitely a nasty person in how you and that trash Britney talked on and on about Rachel for no reason. Hopefully you've changed.

It's not happening. Mostly because Howard has ZERO game and he's up against Amanda who has a ton of game. The Goof Troop votes for her to stay are solid (Judd/Jessie/Andy/McCrae), Arryn is in her pocket and has already said she'll break a tie in Amanda's favor, and Helen definitely wants Howard out this week.

BTW a big eye roll at viewers hating Amanda for being too aggressive while adoring Dick fucking Donato. Talk about sexism. When a man does it, it's just game, but when a woman does it, she's a bitch. Ugh.

The same could be said about people giving women a pass for it but not guys. Britney was one of the most nasty, vile house guests to ever be on the show but people loved her because of her "funny" DR sessions and thought she was cute.

Britney never verbally abused other houseguests or burnt someone with a cigarette so no, I don't think she's anywhere close to being the vilest from the Big Brother cesspool.

Thank you, Ragan (if this is Ragan). :)

The shit is flying from what I read on Jokers. Howard supposedly said something openly sexual to Am about fucking the shit out of her when they get out because she is so fucking hot. She went to dr after revealing what he said to a couple of people.

I love Amanda but...isn't is possible she made that up? Has anyone confirmed hearing Howard say that? It just doesn't sound like something he would say and if I was on trial, I wouldn't exactly call Amanda as a reliable defense witness you know?

OMFG the awesome drama continues! Thank you Candice for going apeshit on Spencer. Y'all better check it out before it gets deleted. LOVE when she references the next HOH comp all, "So goddamn if it's a wall you better hang on that bitch cuz you're going home next week so help me god." Hahahahaha! And you know Amanda must be sitting back enjoying the fuck out of this.

Thank god for Candace/Amanda and all the drama they bring. Is it too early/racist to call them the new Keesha and Libra slip?

Candice is too chill to yell that she's from RICE MOTHERFUCKING UNIVERSITY, LOOK IT UP. Also, Amanda doesn't have a hilarious hyena laugh:

I have a feeling the houseguests are going to be a lot less forgiving to Candace than they were to Aryan.

Amanda has already insisted to Helen/Arryn that they shouldn't target Candace and try to get out Spencer instead next week. Naturally Arryn isn't happy about this.
