Big Brother 16 (US Version)

Re: Big Brother 16

Apparently, they tape the eviction today and show it tomorrow. Which is kinda lame because Frankie's eviction and fallout really should be live.

Re: Big Brother 16

I didn't hate Frankie like some people, but really, as has been said before, he had NUMEROUS opportunites to get strong players out and didn't. Honestly, I barely like anyone left, but I hope Caleb will go on a comp run and take Derrick out, but I don't see that happening because he'll probably just take Derrick anyway even if he did win comps.

Re: Big Brother 16

Derrick and Cody want to evict Caleb next before Victoria. Since Caleb cannot play for HoH that means either Derrick, Cody or Victoria will win it.

I don't hate Frankie, I just don't like him. He has said and done too many things to make himself even close to palatable. I like Derrick because, like Dan, he plays a quiet behind the scenes game and suggests and manipulates. He is very convincing in how he states things and gets what he wants done by making the other person think it was his idea. When Caleb was thinking of putting him and Victoria on the block, Derrick convinced him that it was a very bad idea because if Frankie won veto he would pull Victoria off and put up Cody and one of them would have to go and convinced him that Frankie would come after him if Frankie won next HoH. It was a scenario Caleb had not considered - but it went against Caleb's grain because of his loyalty thing. What it came down to was Frankie going to Nicole and throwing the lot of them under the bus, especially Der & Cody.

I am very sorry that Frankie gets to go and we don't get to be there live. I wanted his audience to react to him like they did to Christine. He deserves that send off with his 'little people' that he is never around, and his arrogance and then the bitter complaining about pushing the button and ending up on the wrong side of the rewind win.

Derrick has definitely played an excellent game, but it's been more than a little boring and definitely one-sided.

And if I were Frankie, I'd be extremely pissed about the button twist as well. Truth be told, it wasn't like if Frankie didn't push the button, it wouldn't have been pushed.

Re: Big Brother 16

Frankie was the main one encouraging everyone to push the button while Derrick was resistant! That one is all on him and he should have known from this show's history of Pandora's Boxes and other twists (they've even done the reset button one before on BB14 when the coaches became players) that it could have backfired on him.

Re: Big Brother 16

The worst part of Frankie's eviction not being live is they'll probably edit any boo's he received from the audience, thereby eliminating the most satisfying part of the season for me.

Have I mentioned that this season sucks?

Re: Big Brother 16

It seems sister Ariana is a pint sized bitch. From the Daily News Confidential today:

Pint-size pop star Ariana Grande had choice words for fans after a recent radio show: Die! Confidential@! has learned that while visiting a Manhattan radio show this summer. the 21 year old "Better left Unsaid" singer should've left her thoughts unsaid. "She did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator," a stunned industry insider tells us. "And as soon as the doors shut she said 'I hope they all F--ing die.'"

It seems everywhere she goes she leaves a bad impression. In Australia photographers were told to not use natural light and "Do shoot from the left side of her face." Journalists were told they were not allowed to ask about her dating life (Big Sean), her Nickelodeon show, comparisons to Mariah Carey or rumors of collaboration with Justin Bieber. (Frankie told us that) Grande is being managed by Bieber's smarmy mentor Scooter Braun?

Guiliana Rancic reacted to Grande's debacle by recalling how the singer pushed her to the side so she could be photographed from her left side (her good side).

At the Stand Up for Cancer benefit in L A where she was described as a total nightmare.

Grande further dissed fans Monday by offering a $495 photo op for fans on her upcoming Honeymoon Tour but stipulated that shoots are for groups of four to six people, not individuals.

Reps for Grande declined to comment.

Re: Big Brother 16

No real surprise there. She's a child star who can sing a lot of octaves (with zero passion) and has probably grown up to tons of people telling her how special she is for her whole life. It's just funny that she's 21 and is just starting to break the mainstream but is already SUCH a diva that she's pulling Mariah's shtick of demanding to be photographed from only one side of her face. Because that's totally going to help her in quest of not being compared to Mariah and refusing to answer any questions about her.

Also there was apparently a feeds leak today and the evicted houseguest and new HOH were spoiled.
Frankie's gone and Derrick won HOH.

OK Guys!
Quick! Go to CBS.com, create an account and vote for Zach (or your your choice) to win Americas favorite player and 25 thousand dollars! Voting has just begun and you can vote up to 20 times a day for a whole week! Zach deserves to win!

Re: Big Brother 16

I don't think I'm spoiling anything by saying that I was really hoping Victoria could've pulled off that F4 HOH win in the tradition of BB2 Monica, BB4 Robert, BB12 Natalie and BB13 Adam. Not just for the WTF factor but also to see the three guys scramble (well...two of them anyway since Cody and Caleb would cote to keep Derrick no matter what).

Re: Big Brother 16

LOL don't know if anyone here follows them, but even Tom and Lorenzo have Ariana's number. Her terrible attitude is clearly becoming known in the industry.

Which means even in terms of being a big bitch that no one can stand, Frankie is overshadowed by his sister.

Re: Big Brother 16

Frankie: "Cody...I've had better."

OK that was funny!

Re: Big Brother 16

Is it just me or did Frankie look like Richard Simmons running out of the house??!!! ;)

Re: Big Brother 16

SPOILER ALERT

Derrick nominated Caleb and Victoria, Cody won the POV, and Cody plans to evict Caleb (though they haven't told him yet) which means one of two things:

1) The Final 2 that slipintothefog and I dreaded weeks ago will likely come to pass because Victoria will be bounced at F3 like Jerry/Sheila/Adam, especially if Cody wins the Final HOH OR

2)The houseguest that slipintothefog and I most wanted in the finals (Victoria) will actually bumblefuck her way in there if Derrick wins the Final HOH and backstabs Cody.

Re: Big Brother 16

One of the most boring seasons ever. BB12 was also crappy.

My only hope is that Cody backstabs Derrick, which I just don't see happening.

Re: Big Brother 16

Yeah, this season has really sucked. Somehow I've also been strangely invested in it anyway, but I'd probably just blame that on being able to watch After Dark sometimes. Only BB14 was worse out of the more recent seasons I think, and that's saying a lot.

Regardless if Derrick actually kicks out Cody at F3 (I can't imagine that he would considering he's told the DR so many times that Cody's his F2 partner, plus there could be a chance for Cody to be a bitter juror that really isn't there for Victoria), Victoria's making finale night anyway. Good run, girl.

Re: Big Brother 16

Though from an imaginary narrative standpoint I would totally approve of Victoria overcoming all fourteen people who hated on her and questioned her deservingness to still be in the house for 97 days, only to see ALL of them get evicted and then lose in the final two to her one frand who believed in her usefulness. :')

So inspirational. So Victoria.

Re: Big Brother 16

Since this season is almost over, I have to say, I was really disappointed to see a lack of :hang from the ledge/bag/stay on the whatever" endurance comps this year. I also missed the "take tons of penalties to win veto comp" that they've done in years past.

I enjoy BB, but I think the BoTB twist went on for WAY too long. Here's hoping that next year is a bit more interesting.

Re: Big Brother 16

I haven't been totally bored. I only watch the CBS show and the AD - sometimes speeding through it because I dvr it. I have liked Derrick almost from the beginning and I liked him as a person. That didn't hold true for high hopes I had for Frankie at the beginning because he was able to meld with everyone. The women were losers from the beginning because they couldn't get anything together even when there were opportunities. I still think Cody is smoking hot (See the Tuesday show and those fucking jeans he was wearing).
A ladies man and I think every woman there had his hair in their hands at one time or another but the sexiest came from Victoria when she was rubbing his feet and legs a couple of nights ago and because it was getting to Cody he turned around so she could play with his hair keeping a pillow in front of Cody jr.

Caleb was robust and ridiculous fun at times. That ego and fairy tale like wishes and hopes he had were fun and child like. But he has a past that is ugly and unforgivable until he admits that all he said about gays and President Obama was wrong and he apologizes. It was racist and homophobic and just plain stooopid!

Donny was easy to like and coming in on the popularity of beards and backwoods nut cases and with that accent and down home boy schtick made him a favorite of many but not so much me. His best moments came in the jury house with Christine.

Victoria owes her BB life to Derrick because he took her under his wing and floated her to f4, possibly f3 and maybe f2 (I hope not because she least deserves to be there) Her whining and crying and neediness was not a comfortable watch sometimes and I did get uneasy with her and Derrick and I do tink she went in for a kiss once and he turned away.

Frankie glitz can soon join Ariana glitz and both can fall into a pit somewhere. He was embarrassing with some of the things he said about Lesbians, women in general. His constant trying to get a feel from men who were not comfortable with it but laughed about it because they didn't want the game to go bad and they were afraid of the gay guy and being called homophobic. Victoria laid out those rules to Frankie who told her he would not confront anyone in the game because it is a game and it wasn't his responsibility to correct that.

So here we are at f4, soon f3 and then that boring week, as it always is, up until the final.

Re: Big Brother 16

I'm a little glad that Caleb will see he's not the beast he thinks he is in this boring as fuck season. Derrick is the mastermind/skillful player (which isn't saying much in this season of duds)

Frankie's exit was both fabulous and silly at the same time. He's a very likable guy. His goodbye speeches were flawless. His interview with Julie was one of the best ever as far as a really feel good moment that usually isn't. Well done Frankie.

Victoria's dr sessions have become absolutely hilarious. "I HAVE to win this competition." No you won't, honey. But you really don't have to. There's a bit of irony in them when she keeps saying, "I'm still here" though.

I have to wonder if Donny had survived and ended up in F2 next to Derrick which one would get 5 or more votes.

I miss Zach the most out of the people evicted. He was far more entertaining than Cody or Caleb or Derrick or anyone else for that matter.

The only reason I don't feel like I wasted money on the season pass this year was the eyecandy. Lots of it and all the way to the end. Unlike last year.

No more True Blood, Chelsea Lately, Fashion Police and BB is ending. I hope Survivor is good. Penny Dreadful on Showtime was excellent. Looking forward to that show's next season.
