Big Brother 21 (Live Feed Spoiler Warning)

Ugh even though they're framing the jury as hating him, I still think Jackson is going to win this season because Nicole is going to choke on one or all three of the HOH comps and Holly can't even give an eviction night speech without malfunctioning like a pageantry robot.

And apparently the online fans are splitting their votes between Nicole and Kemi which could allow a WTF winner for America's Favorite the way fucking Nick won the Prankster Power (some fan sites are showing TOMMY benefitting from this split FML) so this finale could be one big shit show.

Kemi's 10 twitter stans are delusional. The girl was evicted literally months ago, she is not even remotely in the running for AFP. It's Cliff's to lose and we all hate to see it.

And Jackson has already won Part 1 of the Final HOH which means we are just one comp way from Nicole being locked out entirely and me being forced to root for Holly as the winner of the season.

Does anyone know why Tommy's exit interview with Julie has not been posted? Or I can't find it, at least.

Well we now know it's michie, Holly and Nicole I wounder who's gonna win :telstra:

Cliff remained a jerk to his exit. Threatening Michi with a jury stirrup was another idiotic thing to do....and Julie let him know what a jerk he was to go along with a showmance.

And Nick hooking up with Kat makes me a little ill because I love Kat.

I think its telling when Michie is thinking of 'his mama' meanwhile Holly is sitting right there next to him.

Nicole falls back to loserville as she and the showmance go to the finale

And a couple of them should 'get booted' for not getting rid of Michie and Holly sooner and preventing the ultimate outcome

Tommy is going to get favorite player (which he should) but there is nothing exciting about this predictable finale

The only surprising thing is Nick and Kat

I have been recording on dvr BB After Dark but stopped watching a long time ago. Then after the last eviction I tuned in and it must have been right after Nicni won the first part of the final HoH. Holly was joyfully in the shower and Michi was standing just outside the shower door as they talked, happily. Minutes later the camera came upon Nicole, in bed with the covers up to her neck staing at the ceiling and looking like she was going through her regrets. She looked like she had looked most of the season that I have seen her.

And I thought, "Oh dear! Down to a bad finale again!"

I knew Nicole was going to choke sadly. Now we can only hope that the jury will pick Holly and not Jackson. On paper I could see Tommy/Christie/Cliff/Kat/maybe Nicole all voting Holly but in practice who knows. Ever since Nicole won BB18 despite Da'vonne being pro-Paul (and then being the deciding vote for Nicole), I've really stopped putting any stock into the jury segments being accurate to what the jurors will actually vote in the end.

Also I'm just gonna clock early my annual rant that the twists always prevent the underdogs now from getting an upper hand on the big alliance.

Re-upping this now that remnants of the dominant alliance are guaranteed to be the F2.

And consider this: had there been no diamond veto, Jack would've gone home under Cliff's HOH and Jessica Lulz Milagros (having secured the HOH and POV) would've then been able to evict Jackson, and we wouldn't be facing the awful ending we are now.

From what I saw on CBS last night (missed the last of the show because of the football runover) Jackson was talking to Nicole about all the people who hate him in jury house. She wasn't being fooled. She saw right through that. But we now know there is hardly a chance for her unless she does, as mentioned above, start hanging with Holly and openly complimenting her game to the point that Michi gets furious and takes Nicole if he wins final HoH or that Holly takes Nicole over Jackson. But not likely to happen since she feels sorry for herself for the worst move a player has made in a long time.

Nicole only has herself to blame for her 3rd place finish.
Michie has won the most comps but Holly thinks she has a better social game with the jury.
Will the bitterness settle and Michie still win?

Nicole is not blameless insofar as she should have pushed harder to keep Tommy/maybe not target Tommy and Christie before Jackson and Holly, but she did find herself in a place these last couple of weeks where there's only so much she could have done. It really never felt like Cliff was going to be on board with voting out Holly over Tommy at F5 regardless of how Nicole pleaded, and even if she did vote out Holly, Jackson would have broke the tie to boot Tommy and Nicole would have been arguably worse off. And Cliff's gameplay since the double eviction was frankly absurd and not only got him kicked out, but also left Nicole in a spot where she had to win her way to the end.

It could really go either way between Jackson and Holly now. My guess is: Jack votes Jackson and Sis does what Jack does. Christie and Kat vote Holly. Jess is a wild card in that she seemed closer to Jackson than Holly but has also been big about pushing girl power and a female winner all summer. Cliff, Nicole and Tommy lean Holly but I could see any of them voting Jackson because they're the superfans who will vote for "gameplay" regardless of how shitty somebody treated them (see also Haleigh voting Tyler last year for gameplay despite Kaycee being nicer to her). Nick .... ???

Slip is right about Nicole. She hasn't been perfect in her gameplay but she did get herself to the F3 despite seeming like flotsam for the dominant alliance early on, losing allies like Kemi and Ovi, and trusting Jess & Kat who never really reciprocated. It's totally true that Cliff was easily duped in the endgame and dragged Nicole down but I do think she had more sway over Cliff than vice versa and failed to push him to make the right move at times. (You know I'm willing to drag my faves when they deserve it)

I've already explained why I think Nicole was right not to target Jackson/Holly in the double but I think the real mistake (and I said it here at the time) was not pushing Cliff/Jackson/Holly to evict TOMMY during the double instead of Christie. That's not just because I wanted Christie to stay. Tommy was obviously the bigger threat and Christie was never going to work well with Jackson & Holly. Had they gone into F5 with Christie and the comp winners being the same, Nicole and Cliff would then have the option to evict Holly or Christie and THAT option would be much more obvious. The only reason they were vacillating is because Tommy was such a big jury threat, a big comp threat, and a threat to re-team with Jackson. But Christie was much less threatening on all those scores so they could have easily booted Holly at F5, and no matter how mad Jackson was, they probably still have a chance to convince him to evict Christie at F4 because he believed she was a big threat to him. And even if it didn't work and Jackson evicted Cliff at F4, that means Nicole would have to play against Christie in the Part 2 HOH (much better odds for her) or if Christie won Part 3, she certainly would take Nicole over Jackson. Hell Jackson might even take Nicole over Christie.

In other words, I don't think the big mistake was evicting Tommy at F5; I think the big mistake was NOT evicting Tommy at F6. That left them with too many big threats down the line to have to take out. But once they made that mistake then yes they probably should have evicted Holly at F5 when they had the chance. Looking back now, I was so afraid of Tommy getting to the end and winning but lord I would take that in a heartbeat over the outcome we are likely to get instead.

Slip I hope you're right that Holly has a chance and Jackson's smug self-righteousness sinks him with the jury but I just feel like 1) we saw this play out already with Boogie & Erika and 2) Holly Allen 24 Wyoming sucks at talking live and taking credit for her game.

It really all comes down to how much the jurors see Holly as a coattail rider/how much they hate Jackson and want to vote against him. Like on paper Cliff and Tommy should be leaning toward voting Holly, but at the same time Cliff still loves Jackson as a person  despite being evicted by him, and Tommy had his huge blow-up with Jackson but also paused within said fight to point fingers about Holly being her own person so it would not surprise me to see neither of them vote for her. Nicole voting for the comp beast/perceived brains of the showmance like how Haleigh voted Tyler also wouldn't shock me. Kat and Christie voting for Jackson would be the only ones that would raise my eyebrow.

Yeah I'm honestly expecting Nicole and especially Cliff to vote for Jackson. I think the key for Holly is Tommy. He's closer to Holly and has massive influence on the jury.

Oh and one more point I forgot to bring up before. Nicole & Cliff were factoring in the kind of trivia comps that ALWAYS come at the end of the game (F4 HOH, F4 POV and Part 3 of the Final HOH are almost always questions about days and things that happened in the house). Nicole is better at that kind of recall than Jackson and much better than Holly. The problem is (and this started last season) they have been switching things up and making the end game comps way more physical which favored athletic types like Tyler & Kaycee last season and Jackson & Holly this season. So I don't blame Nicole for not realizing that would happen but it is something future houseguests should be aware of and try to get these athletic types out early.
