Biology Boy (Based On A True Story)

So much emotion and twists and turns. Such a great chapter and such great emotion.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you sooooo much everyone! I smile everytime I read those comments <3 I'm working on chapter 8 right now :)

Chapter 8 : The Final Chapter.

"Stop! Stop! Stop!" I screamed in horror as Steven tackled Jake and pushed him to the ground falling right on top of him. I tried to pull him off, but fuck it Steven is an overweight man with arms of steel and even trying to hold him back will get you hurt. Seven punches to the face later Jake pulls Steven's hair and pushes him off of him, changing the position leaving him on top. A punch, two and a third.

"Stop it!"

I started pull Jake back and and with all my strength, it worked. Steven gets up wiping the blood from under his nose. Jake wants to have another go but I held him back.

"You know, I knew it, I so knew it," Steven yelled.

"Steven," I cry.

He walks to his car, gets in and drive away. I run after him crying "Steven, baby, wait!"

When I realised how pointless running after him was, I turned to Jake who was bleeding from his head.

"Oh my god! You're bleeding."

Jake wasn't saying anything. He tried to walk back inside.

"No, you can't go in there looking like that!" I grabbed him. "Let me take you to a hospital!"

"You've done enough," he says pushing my hand away.

Before he could reach the door, he collapsed. That was my que. I helped him to the car. Got him to a nearby hospital. Three hours later, his wounds were all stitched up and now he was all set to go. Rachel left him fifteen angry messages and he wasn't ready to answer any of them. The sun was coming up and I was driving him back to his appartment.

The moment I parked, sunlight hit my car, and he was about to get out, but then...

"You were the first person to ever care."

Did he just say that?

"When you showed up looking for me at the club years ago, that was the first time I felt wanted. Ever. It seemed ever since I was born, my whole existence was a mistake, and then you came along, and all that, it changed. I was going to commit suicide the night you showed up, but, I helped you instead. Only, it was you helping me. Then, you, you touched me and, the whole world just dissappeared. I felt needed, like someone could actually, actually care for me."

Tears rolled his cheeks right as the sun hit his beautiful eyes ounce more.

"I'm so happy now, and that's all thanks to you. I found someone to love, who loves me back, I love her so much, and it's all thanks to you. You saved my life. I'll never forget you."

Seeing as there was nothing else I could do, I leaned in for one last kiss which he gave in to.

"Have a great life Jake." I smiled with tears in my eyes. He gets out of the car and that was the last I saw of Jake. My first love.

Driving into the sunset, it hit me.

I did not get the fairytale ending I wanted with Jake, no. But I did live an extraordinary tale. One great love. He was a big part of my stepping into this vast world of complicated human relationships and I, I saved his life. It felt the universe fabricated all of this. I saved him, and he taught me what life is really all about....going with the flow.

Yes, my life had always been so routine perfect but then Jake changed all of that. He taught me life wasn't all about following steps, living by a conduct, or even being happy all the time. You'll get curves, and bends, and thought provoking situations. Like finding him, and saying goodbye to him. You'll scream, you'll cry, you'll scare and get scared. You'll love and be loved. We are all on this earth for such a short period of time, so feel everything. Feel it all. The only thing constant in life is change, and I'm ready to roll with it.

Smiling I remembered the last thing he asked me before stepping out of my car.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Just call me, Biology Boy."

Now turn up up the music man, cause the album is far from over.

THE END.

Thank you again to all the wonderful people who have taken an interest in this story. I hope my ending was satisfiying and now that I'm done writing this lovely story, I can't wait to start reading all of yours.

Thank you again <3 It was real fun!

Biology Boy...what a great name and we should have had a clue. A wonderful story, with as many twists and turns that, as you point out, life has to offer. Jake is much richer and whole just because of you and you are wiser beyond all things from the lessons he taught you. Life is about interacting with our fellow man and hopefully gleaning it's wonderful lessons as we go along. Whether up or down. When we fail to do that, there really is no purpose of being on this earth. Thanks for sharing a part of your life with us, Biology Boy.

AWWW! Craiger, you have been my most insightful reader. Your oponions are of great value to me. Yes, exactly. That's the exact moral of the story. It's not a part of my life though, it's my friend's. He told me his experience, and I turned it into a story where I saw life through his eyes. I'm glad you enjoyed it Craiger. I look forward to hearing from you on future works. Have you written anything? I'd love to read.(*8*)

Unfortunately I am not an author. I do not have the talent, but certainly enjoy reading some of the fine works presented here in the story forum. I will definitely watch for further stories I hope you will grace us with. I am a romantic at heart and works like yours touch me deeply. I am somewhat relieved to hear that it was not an ordeal that you had to go through. I am happy though, that your friend trusted you with his story and thank you for presenting it so well. Let me know when or if you plan to write more, Shattereddreams.

Great, well-told tale of that first crush that lingers long afterward. I could not think of a more suitable ending than what you wrote. Thank you for sharing your writing with us and I hope you will share another tale soon!

I just found this story, and it instilled so many emotions in such a short period of time. I had to re-read several bits because they were just too good. I love the way you articulated the story and expressed emotions that I feel like I have never experienced. You really loved Jake and I understand the moral of your life story, but I am just so depressed about the turn of events for you. It was bittersweet for me.

I always wondered what was going on in Jake's head when he made love to you that night and the last chapter answered it for me.. probably one of the reasons why he loved you so much in return was because you were the first and because of that he had hope for his life and was able to find love. I'm happy for Jake, but sad for you. You're a good guy, I guess I just really wanted a fairytale ending with you two together and happy (oh god how I wanted that lol).. I have read a lot of gay stories, almost always true ones though, and this is probably the best. Thank you for sharing it with us!! (*8*) I will remember this one.
