I just found this story, and it instilled so many emotions in such a short period of time. I had to re-read several bits because they were just too good. I love the way you articulated the story and expressed emotions that I feel like I have never experienced. You really loved Jake and I understand the moral of your life story, but I am just so depressed about the turn of events for you. It was bittersweet for me.

I always wondered what was going on in Jake's head when he made love to you that night and the last chapter answered it for me.. probably one of the reasons why he loved you so much in return was because you were the first and because of that he had hope for his life and was able to find love. I'm happy for Jake, but sad for you. You're a good guy, I guess I just really wanted a fairytale ending with you two together and happy (oh god how I wanted that lol).. I have read a lot of gay stories, almost always true ones though, and this is probably the best. Thank you for sharing it with us!! I will remember this one.

Unfortunately I am not an author. I do not have the talent, but certainly enjoy reading some of the fine works presented here in the story forum.
