If you listen to the entire tone of the email Woodward is crying about, you will find that it was not threatening. Just like always Fox took one slice out of context and tried to make hay over it. The fact that Woodward used to be a jouralist buit is now playing Fix news like games speaks volumes about his capability.

As if a "you better watch out" is somehow different from a "threat." Even though it's pretty obvious it was not.

All of the commentary is bullshit because the Republicans made it clear in 2008 that their stated goal was to make Obama a one term President and to say NO to everything. They pretty much kept their promise.

We watched him reach across the aisle far too often in his first term trying to compromise with people who had no intention of compromising and he risked losing his base doing so. Liberals were incensed. His crappy health care plan with no public option is basically a Republican version of health care reform.

None of the right wing opinion pieces after that are really very interesting or even worth reading. Maybe they think we are all like their Faux News viewers and just "forget stuff"? ...eh?

We not only saw him reach across the table, we even saw him let the Republicans write the legislation, only to vote against it afterwards anyway! Because, after all, it's what Obama wants. Therefore ipso facto it must be bad, even if we got everything we wanted in the bill.

Btw Saucy-- yes, Obama's had the majority of the public behind him on any number of items, but you can't translate pure majority will into forcing GOP minority Congresspeople secure in very deeply red gerrymandered districts to do what the people want.

Sorry Chance and Saucy if you want anyone to remotely take seriously the notion that the sole factor in consideration here is "Obama doesn't lead" you'll have to actually explain this behavior from the GOP with something other than a circular argument.

To be fair, the President’s denial of being a dictator may be a response to various allegations that he is acting like a dictator as promoted by Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Representative Dan Burton, and others.

Woodward said on Fix fucking news that he felt it was a threatening email.. His words not mine. Get a grip and try listening to the news concerning the things you post and you might appear somewhat educated about the topics.


The most astonishing thing about people claiming Obama is trying to be a dictator or a king? There is only one party that found allowing everyone to vote meant they lose power. So now they are seeking to remove the vote from people, or restrict access in specific areas. That behavior is much more dictatorial than a elected President exercising the rights given his predecessors.
