BOOKS: What are you reading?

Just finished Everybody Rise by Stephanie Clifford. She got a seven-figure advance for it, as well as a movie option; it's that well-written, but a long read; I was kind of exhausted by the end!

I just finished reading "Assassinations, Threats, and The American Presidency From Andrew Jackson to Barack Obama" by Ronald L. Feinman. It is available through the publisher Rowman & Littlefield at their website: www.Rowman.com or through Amazon.

Excellent book!

Metro 2033 popped up on Amazon for free and since I haven't read anything in a while, seems like something good to start with.

Miss peregrines home for peculiar children. I think it's supposed to be a children's book, but either way I'm reading it and actually like it.

Archaeology in the jungle of the mind via J.G. Ballard.

Going to start Call of the Wild by Jack London.

Remember reading it in Middle School and enjoying it, always wanted to read it again.

I've finished my Austen list, so now I've finally found the time to start this gem:

I'm only about 100 pages in, but it's very promising. Arthur Golden's version may be more of a novel, but one can tell that this is non fiction as opposed to Golden's poetic fairytale.

Re-reading The Girl In The Spiders Web By David Lagercrantz. Read it in about 2 days the first time and want to take my time now.

I am reading "The Best Little Boy in the World Grows Up" by Andrew Tobias. I read his first book "The Best Little Boy in the World." This book is a sequel to the first book.

Just finishing volume III of The Autobiography of Mark Twain.

Just finishing the posthumously published "Gratitude" by Oliver Sacks. It's very short.

Smash Cut: A Memoir of Howard & Art & the '70s & the '80s by Brad Gooch
