Just finished Everybody Rise by Stephanie Clifford. She got a seven-figure advance for it, as well as a movie option; it's that well-written, but a long read; I was kind of exhausted by the end!

I've finished my Austen list, so now I've finally found the time to start this gem:

I'm only about 100 pages in, but it's very promising. Arthur Golden's version may be more of a novel, but one can tell that this is non fiction as opposed to Golden's poetic fairytale.

Can anyone recommend a book on Amy Winehouse? Except her dads of course.

It's not a book but I saw the documentary "Amy" which was very interesting. I did not know that much about her before but after seeing it I learned a lot about her life.
