I'm going to sound really pretentious, but I started The Discourses of Epictetus yesterday. It has been on my list for a while along with Essays by
Michel de Montaigne, though I should read Seneca before Montaigne since he based Essays off of Seneca's writings.

I really only got into philosophy because I have a habit of reading Meditations (Marcus Aurelus's private notes) whenever I need guidance or grounding in life etc.

I would say 90% of the time I'm reading murder mysteries or science fiction/epic fantasy, one day I will sit down and finally finish Malazan Book of The Fallen though I have only made it to book 3 out of 10 and they range from like 600 to 900 pages each........
