Robby: I spent my Sunday afternoon with Vance and Lattimore at the cottage and along the shore of Lake Norman. It was strange to be there. I was floored when Lattimore told me that Douglas had given him the keys to the cottage to use when he wanted. I've visited Bradley numerous times and Douglas always welcomed me and was appreciative that I was Bradley's friend. I was invited for backyard cookouts and even hung out with Bradley a couple of times inside the cottage. It is a comfortable little place with wooden floors, walls, and ceiling that gave it a cabin feel. It has a small fireplace, and the roof is high enough for a ceiling fan, so it could be used any time of year. Knowing Lattimore, he could make this home sweet home.
But, that is what made it strange. Lattimore brought binoculars and while we were sitting at the picnic table he strolled down to the water's edge and skipped some stones. I focused the binoculars and scanned around the picturesque lake that was sparkling on this bright sunny mid-September day. I panned around to the stone house and caught a glimpse of Bradley straddling their balcony railing. I zoomed in on him and he gave me the twin middle fingers. I'm sure he feels that I betrayed him. After all, here I am hanging out with HIS enemies on HIS home turf. Vance took the binoculars from me and was now watching Bradley watching us. Lattimore walked back and also wanted a closer look. He smiled. "He looks pissed, doesn't he?"
The sun was starting to go behind the trees and we started eating the sandwiches and drinking the lemonade we had brought with us while observing some guys out in a rowboat. Lattimore was telling us about the day before. After Douglas had given him the keys to the cottage and Lattimore was about to leave, Bradley flipped out on Douglas from the balcony and they had a big fight. Lattimore hung around the corner out of sight and couldn't help hearing it. Douglas told Bradley if he didn't like "our guest" he could move out. Bradley responded that he would "burn the goddamn cottage down." Bradley didn't have it in him to burn the cottage down, but I worried that something bad could happen. Bradley now has no one in his corner and he has shown a tendency to be his own worst enemy.
We hung out and shot the breeze until the moon replaced the sun in the twilight. We went inside the cottage and Lattimore was standing there looking fine with his white shirt unbuttoned, as it usually was. I pulled open his long shirttail and admired his treasure trail. He asked me if I wanted to kiss him again and without hesitation I looked up and locked lips with him. He slipped his tongue into my mouth and it felt amazing. Vance said, "If you two are going to go at it, I'm going out for a smoke" . . .

Now it's your turn to tease me! Who do you want to hear from next and why?
