If you look at the "
List of Content Not Allowed on JUB" you will see there are a number of individials, websites, and studios on that list.
This is how it was explained to me by one of the JUB managers. The list falls into three categories ....
1. Those individuls banned by the JUB owners because they are under the age of 18 (e.g. Grey Speedos Boy) or websites which feature guys under the age of 18 (e.g. mike18.com, hmboys.com etc)
2. Straight people who do not wish to be associated with a gay website (i.e. Model Joseph Sayers and Actor Justin Berfield from 'Malcolm in the Middle') They have contacted JUB to ask that they be included on their Prohibited List.
3. Gay companies and individuals who own and operate pay websites and feel that their photos and clips freely posted on JUB will prevent people becoming members of their pay sites.
Bel Ami is one such company who comes into this category. Their argument is that if JUB posted pics and clips of their models, why would anyone want to pay money to become a member of the
Bel Ami website. Pretty short sighted, but there you go! They're obviously in a minority as most other studios regard exposure on JUB in the forum of a few photos and preview clips as being good publicity.
Certain individuals have the same narrow view as
Bel Ami and Brent Everett is one of them. He has his own website,
http://www.brentxxx.com, which charges members $25.95 a month to have access to his photos and movie clips.
I was told that that
Bel Ami Brent Everett and others have not only requested that JUB place their names on the list, but have actually threatened legal action if their wishes are not carried out.
