If they DID get Bill Clinton to speak, I hear he gets a lot more than $20,000 for a speech. Even if she spoke for free, it's a bad idea. She has no credibility, and is only a somewhat celebrity because of who her mother is. Get someone who was a teen mother, struggled and grew up to be a responsible adult, which would make her not a hypocrite, but a teacher. And talking to college students about abstinence does sound foolish, but there are some people who will behave more responsibly than others, and hearing from older, wiser people will support them. You have to at least try to teach and protect young people. Anyone old enough to have college aged children knows this.

If she were not Sarah Palin's daughter, she wouldn't have received the invitation from Wash. U. I'm more concerned at how fucked up Wash. U. has become. I am concerned, not obsessed.

The moment this palin mediawhore mini-me put herself out there to milk the family's 15 minutes before they disappear back into well deserved obscurity, she deserves all the scrutiny and scorn she attracts.

I'll bet there were 1000 other women who could have delivered a far more compelling speech at half the cost who deserve the money far more than Bristol Palin does. I'll bet there were at least 100 who would have done it for free.

Washington University has redeemed itself. The new campus speaker is going to be Michael Vick who will present a speech on the importance of being kind to animals.
