British gays and European Union

We have cleaned up our act a lot in regards to football to the point where we are probably the best behavioured travelling fans in Europe now. Funny how that changed, because now most English fans fear heading to games in Rome were it seems like constant attacks against supporters happens (with the constant arse stabbing). I believe football in Greece has been stopped due to crowd troubles as well.

Anyway on the whole - football rivalries, especially international ones, are quite often labours of love to an extent. I don't think anyone really hates the Germans (except bone heads that hold on WW2 views that are outdated), but its just sort of fun to have heightened competition (well up to a point where no violence occurs).

Our government is currently clamping down on football fan violence with the hope that further measures will restrain the few who instigate chaos during a football match.

Despite the ongoing negotiations between Germany, and Greece there is no personal animosity towards Germans....with Germany the number one destination for Greek graduates seeking employment...

Purely anecdotal statements from Scandinavians, Southerners, Germans, and the French who at times sound as if they might be preparing to nuke you all.

Hm, probably people who use "metapedia" instead of wikipedia?
