She's not as bad as that video makes out; she's dancing her backside off while doing that, and obviously breathing hard which messes up your singing. Most real live shows involve the singer only doing anything really active when he's not singing. If you have a vocalist dancing about, unless he's in really good shape, he'll be short of breath because of it, and wreck the song.
In addition, she's trying to focus on a choreographed routine, and also, she can't really stop and have a drink to wet her throat because the whole show will be so perfectly scripted that it'll ruin the atmosphere. She's only singing along because it's the only way to lipsynch perfectly.
You'd struggle to find any pop singer who does all of that and doesn't sound horrible at the end of it.

i remember on her 2004 Tour, i saw it on TV and she sung Toxic, and it was obvious she was actually singing it coz it didn't sound like the CD version, it sounded worse, but nowhere near as bad as that video

Im a huge beyonce fan first of all. But...in case u dont notice Beyonce sings like only half the song live the rest of the time she is just dancing. Plus its different music, Britney is more dance pop, Beyonce dances but its not the same dancing. Plus Beyonce has a big voice, so u cant compare. Even Britney has said she doesnt have the strongest voice.

I don't know she has had other albums that have been better but so has every other artist out there. A lot of the vocals seem to be hidden behind the music which I guess is the trend now a days as Cher did it, Gaga, and Katy. I will say I am a little disappointed in the final product. I do feel that there have been better unreleased songs that could/should have been released. My favs off of Britney Jean are: Work Bitch (obviously), Body Ache, Chillin', and yes I am a MAJOR FAN I bought the deluxe edition so I got the 4 (3 extra because the last one is just a remix of prefume) Now That I Found You. These are the best I like a couple others but will definately put these 4 on my mp3.
