Lol, this was sad. Lol. He had a 30 lbs weight advantage over Velasquez and yet he couldn't stop the takedown nor use his superior strength and weight to neutralize Velasquez's wrestling on the ground. Then, after only a couple minutes of fight, Brock gasses out like a bitch and the referee stops the fight. He gassed after 2 minutes!!! And this is supposed to be the heavyweight MMA champion of the World???????:confused::confused::confused::confused: I have always sustained that Brock was a fraud, a WWE clown with no cardio, no stand-up skills and no grappling whos only talent is his huge size and wrestling. He got fucking owned. Fedor is still the best fighter ever despite the loss to Werdum.

Would have LOVED to see that fight, but my damn cable was out:mad: On top of that, I'd almost forgotten all about the prelims, and ended up missing Lawlor/Cote](*,)](*,)](*,)... Cort McGee had a good fight with Ryan Jensen. For a minute, I wasn't sure if he was gonna make it out of the 1st round, but he pulled off an impressive comeback.

I freely admit that is my main motivation as a UFC fan. Sure, I love to see a good fight, but what's better than watching hot, sweaty boys rolling around together? Seriously...have ya SEEN some of those guys? If not, checkout Patrick Cote & Roger Huerta...definitely 2 of UFC's hottest..|

Huerta fights in Bellator FC now. He got jacked up by Eddie Alvarez on last night's show. They stopped the fight because he couldn't continue after the 2nd round.

I LOVED seeing him beat, and bad! I jumped off my barstool and had to do a little dance I was so thrilled! He got lucky when he fought Carwin, twice the referee almost stopped that fight in the first round too! Go have a Coors Light and jump on your woman now A-hole!:badgrin:

Yep, Lesnar's homophobia is well-documented, but something about the guy has always screamed "PRICK" to me.
 
I was disapointed with the match being that I am a huge Brock Lesnar fan and have been since his WWE days.

I had no idea though he was openly homophobic.

Kind of ironic considering this.....




I always thought he was hot too but not sure how I feel about his "I don't like gays" comment, but not a surprise considering MMA and pro wrestling are mostly homophobic industries.

Or maybe they really enjoy fights? It is an ugly thing about the Human nature, but fighting goes very deeply into the masculine psyche. Even the most gentle, sociable and nice guys like to debate theoretical fights. Even comic book nerds like to debate what would happen in fights between comic heroes. Gay men are different, I think, because they want to have sex with men rather than fighting them. But most men who are not gay do like watching fights.

If your comment was directed at me, I have never had any erections watching guys roll with each other on the ground, although the defeat of Brock Lesnar was the moment I got the closest to having an erection in a fight. I really hate that guy.

This is true. Carwin "carved" Brock a new asshole in that fight. The fight should have been stopped in the first round. Then, Carwin gasses out in the beggining of the second round and Brock submits him? A submission from Brock:confused::confused::confused::confused: That guy is not exactly a BJJ black belt. Then, Carwin blamed lactic acidosis for gassing out. Lmaoooo. Carwin, I love ya, but you should have taken your loss like a man. Going on a PR campaign of damage control and blaming a disease on why you can't fight for more than a couple minutes before gassing is sad.

You hate him because he is homophobic? Then you shouldn't watch MMA because pretty much all these guys are homophobic to one degree or another. Cain has already stated that women belong in the kitchen and that gays should be ashamed of being like women and not real men.
 
After his lame, tactless post-fight "promo" from his last fight, I was waiting for someone to put him in his place. Seriously, Brock's ego needed to be checked.

I hope Sable kicked him out of bed that night, too!

This is a thread about the Brock vs Velasquez fight. Please don't make my thread become the one billionth thread that devolved into the topic of homophobia. There are homophobic people in the World, just like there are people who hates blacks, Christians who hate scientists, Muslim who hate everyone, etc. Get over it. The answer to these people is to turn their back on them like all civilized people do. In the case of homophobia it is harder because pretty much all straight men hate gays or at least feel contempt for them, even the ones with gay brothers. However, as much as you guys have all reasons in the World to worry about this and try to change it, not every thread here should be about homophobia in the World.
 
Yep, Brock got owned four minutes into the first bout. I wasn't rooting for him in the first place, but I have to say that I was stunned. It was like seeing "God" bleed.
