Yeah Tommy definitely DESERVES a storyline beyond the one about having a baby with his wife. Balthazar Getty is gorgeous and he needs some serious screentime. I think maybe some kind of deal with Holly perhaps?
 
Not sure if anyone knew... but Sally Field and Matthew Rhys (Kevin) were originally not in the pilot and ended up in the show due to a recast. The original Nora was Betty Buckley and the original Kevin was Jonathan LaPaglia, brother of Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace).
 
In my humble opinion, the worst episode so far this season... just as they got me to like Holly and Justin, they take a break from them. There was no mushy, cheesy entire family moment I loved so much in this episode and don't even get me started on that Kitty/Senator thing. Too bad Rob Lowe's sticking around for the rest of the season.

I'm not sure where they're going with this Kevin thing... but one thing's for sure, it doesn't look like it's going to last for more than 3 episodes. I know I wanted a storyline for Tommy, but that's what they came up with? An oversexed pregnant wife?

Oh well, I'm done complaining. Hopefully, Justin will be back, I just started liking that bugger. :P
 
I liked how tonight's episode was simpler than previous ones. Without Holly, Saul, and Justin to worry about in addition to the rest of the family, it made the plots a little less choppy. I wish the Tommy storyline was axed in favor of something with Justin though. I understand why they weren't included though. This was supposed to be a fluffy fun episode and currently those three characters in their current state just couldn't fit the theme.

I liked the Kevin storyline. The "is he gay or is he straight" back and forth that Kevin went through was intriguing. Also, I know it's happened before but it is always nice to see that two guys can kiss on network TV. As for Kevin, I don't know if it was because he was standing next to Jason Lewis, but he wasn't looking like his usual cute self today, which was a little disappointing. Still had the wit though, which is hot. Did anyone catch what was said when Kevin and Sarah were reading the "favorite music" on the blog? Was it "All things Christina," as in Christina Aguilera, or did I understand that wrong? It made me laugh anyway though haha.

I liked the Kitty/Senator storyline. They have really good chemistry and even if it is predictable it's still fun to see them banter with eachother. The silicone ass thing was funny too.

Hated the Tommy story. The Sarah story seemed forced and boring. Same goes for the Nora/gay date storyline. The Nora/Kitty scenes are always good though. Overall this episode wasn't my favorite but it was still fun to watch.

Kevin's storyline is going to last 7 episodes and on the Valentine's Day episode Scotty is going to make an appearance. I think the storyline between Kevin and the closeted actor could be interesting. It was nice to see Jason Lewis kiss a guy.

I hates Kitty's storyline tonight, it was so damn predictable. I mean all of it, every single moment was predictable. That can go bye-bye quick.

7 episodes... that would be overkill for me. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. I don't like the actor guy already. Probably because I don't think he's good for my Kevin (;) ).

And yes, the vibrator... oh, Sally Field.
 
I know Brothers and Sisters is on ABC but my gosh the kiss between Kevin and his new beau the closeted Soap Actor was so lame. It was like so fast you hardly saw it. I know ABC is owned by Disney but Brothers and Sisters is an adult show with adult themes. Why does Tommy and his wife get to have a sexy scene in the shower. And all Kevin gets is a quick kiss on lips with his new beau? Will Kevin ever get a sex scene? Or is that just too much for ABC. I am not saying anything explicit but I want to see some serious lip locking at least more then just a few seconds. I want to see some intense kissing. That's all I am asking for. But ABC should stop with the jilting and just go all the way. Everyone knows Kevin is gay and I don't think AFA or any of those other crazy groups have complained right? So let Kevin have a real SEX SCENE? I mean fully clothed but an intense kissing session. I feel like ABC is holding back and I don't think they should.
 
This show is so good on so many levels. I like Kevin's new relationship because i can relate to it. I used to date this straight basketball player when his girlfriend was away and as soon as the girl came back things got weird between us. We still hang out but his girlfirend gets in the way. My basketball player doesnt identify himself as a gay male, he says he is only attracted to me and that makes our relationship work and not work.

Sally Field is so good in this role and i like the mother daughter relationship she has with Kitty.

After i watch it again ill comment more.

Betty Buckley would have been awesome. She's an amazing actor, not too over the top like Sally Field.

Maybe it's not all ABC's decision. Perhaps Matthew Rhys or Jason Lewis are not comfortable doing a sex scene with another man? Who knows, it's probably a little of both.

Or maybe it just happened that way. I'm kinda tired of hearing complaints about how "not hot" the make-out sessions are for Kevin. I don't think it's ABC or the actors' fault. It can't be just what it is? I don't think there's even issue to be complaining about to begin with.

To be honest, I don't think Kevin (the character) seem like he's all into heavy kissing and etc are. anyway.... he sure looks like the more timid kind.
 
Kevin better not fall inlove with "Smith" because men like him break hearts. Sure its fun bagging a closetted straighty but in the end they will put image above manlove.
 
Oh, how I adore Sally Field.... I definately saw a lot 'Calista Flockhart' in her. What a funny medievel party. Oh, by the way, how adorable was Justin in this episode? Why am I always attracted to the trouble bad boys. I want to give him a hug after his apology to Jordan.

Regarding Kevin, obviously this thing with Chad is not going to last but I see it as just another character building for Kevin for whenever he finally net that special one. Is it me, or does anyone else like Tommy and Julia? What a cute couple.

If the showrunners aren't careful, they might turn Kitty Walker into another Susan Mayer. Let's not live through that for another hour after DH.
 
I really loved tonight's episode.

Kitty and the Senator..swoon...the tension they have together is so good. I love when they're together.

Yay, Tyler's back. I always liked her.

Kevin and Chad..boring...I'm ready for the new relationship with the senator's brother. The kiss this time didn't interest me much because I knew how much Jason Lewis didn't want to do it.

Sally Field was great as usual.

Sarah and Joe and the whole sex tape thing was hilarious. When she found out about the tape, her reaction was so funny.

Overall there was nothing to really complain about in this episode. I love when the family gets all together. Well as long as I'm being nitpicky, the only disappointment I had was to see Kevin with a hairy chest. Few can pull the hairy-look off and unfortunately, IMO Kevin is not one of those people. I think I'm starting to fall out of love with him.lol
 
Another very good eppy. I wonder how long we will have to wait to get a new one?

It would have been funny if when all the brothers and sisters were in the closet and Justin came in, Kevin should have said, "Hey Grandma thought you were gay."

I like Tyler and now she has a better understanding of Justin.

The sex tape shouldnt have happened because the editor should have know there was a mix up and instead of fumbling with the remote why not just manually turn off the TV

I liked the ending with Nora giving her kids chicken noodle soup that was good.

Kevin/Senator banter was funny.

Funniest line of the night. Love it. Sorry I botched the name earlier, it's TYLER, not Jordan like I said. But regarding that, I was hoping they've moved on from her for Justin- guess not. I would think he has more than enough storyline with that call back to Iraq. But hey, I'm starting to crush on the boy. He can lick whatever word on my back any day. ;)
 
It's being reported that Emily VanCamp, who played Amy on Everwood, has been cast as William Walker and Holly Harper's lovechild, Rebecca.
 
oh great.. just what we need another one of her troubled teen characters. Her last three roles were all tormented teens.
 
LOL I just noticed something on the rerun of B&S tonight that I didn't catch the first time around. Sarah and Kevin unknowingly lost their virginity to the same person (at different times of course). Justin also got high for the first time with the same guy. Funny and sorta icky at the same time (at least for Kevin assuming Sarah got Tucker first). :D
 
Wow the show came back with a bang tonight.

I think i missed a couple minutes here and there because i had to switch back and forth between the Grammys.

After i rewath ill be back, but for now, I like how the main storylines are developing.

The writing is so smart. Kitty rules lol.

Justin and Tyler, i likey :).

Kevins nipples were hot when he got out of bed with Scotty. I never liked Scotty so i wont be missing him lol. But i do like the irony of it all.

Justin says it in his latest single, "What Goes Around Comes Around."
