bugchasing and HIV

So is your gun ownership to me ^_^

And I don't see anything in my post that could possibly be described as "murder". Maybe you need to educate yourself on the current treatments for HIV?

Okay, then unless they're wealthy, it's theft.

BTW, gun ownership is like using a condom -- being safe.

Yeah but it takes two to tango ...the bug chasers may have mental health issues (and I think they do and need to get help) but those willing to infect them deliberately are criminals and should be sent to prison and put in isolation also so they don't infect others. They are dangerous. Yes, some argue they should also be rehabilitated but if you knowing infect someone else you are a criminal and should do time. No question about it.

In truth they need their asses kicked....disgusting people!

.....or unwanted pregnancies, which somehow seem to still be going on non-stop no matter how much education. Gee ain't human nature strange that way???

hear- hear on your excellent post:=D: But don't expect to find any decent compassion discussion on HIV from the gays on here. Just judgmental self righteous "us & them". While this this bug chasing is a behavior I disagree with and likely more of a over blown gay urban legend over fact in 2013. Oh yeah you read it on a site on the Internets so it has to be the fucking truth. What is lacking is the regard expressed right here for other gay men reading this thread who likely have HIV and or know dear friends alive or dead who were not freaks of nature treated like the out kast the across the hand swipe is given making those with the disease seem even more alienated and alone. It is the big mouth nasty gay dude who spews more hate against other HIV gay men then can be witnessed in the hetero community hands down in 2013. Imagine that they are almost hated as much as smokers (or classed together) by the luscious sex gods in this thread.

I have some good friends who have HIV and if you were talking about people with HIV in the bar near me like some of you talk about gays or people with HIV in this gay forum I would put your dick in the dirt and not the way you might prefer it . Rude sacks of shit.

You have a strong opinion about this topic.
Would you approve the warning ads similar to smoking ads below? why or why not ?

I'm not arguing that it's disgusting. It's horrifying and immoral. But it's like assisted suicide - it's not the poz guy's fault if the neg guy wants to get infected.

bugchasing and HIV

Well now, not surprisingly, "bugchasing and HIV" is truly not a good idea. If at all possible, please refrain from "bugchasing HIV." Believe us when it is said (irregardless of the reasons you may have in your mind to do so) that it is for the best not to "bugchase HIV."

Actually, gun ownership is EXACTLY like bug chasing - "I'll get shot anyway, might as well escalate it myself, so it happens sooner."

Gun ownership doesn't escalate anything. The equivalent to bugchasing would be putting up a sign that says "gun-free zone" -- that's an invitation to anyone who wants to shoot things up (which is why most mass shootings happen in "gun-free zones"). I know that having a gun is just like wearing a condom, because it's saved my ass more than once, and saved some kids I was supervising from being molested.

In fact just about every defense of "gun control" on JUB is exactly like the bugchasing reasoning: I can't really protect myself, so I won't do anything to protect myself.

It's not in the least like assisted suicide. Assisted suicide is helping someone die peacefully whose other choice is to die in agony. BCing is taking someone who is healthy and living in comfort and deliberately inflicting suffering.

I've been considering applying for a gun carrying permit for some time now. I just haven't gotten to it. Maybe I should just go get it over with. I don't know I'll just have to wait & see how things play out.

Inaccurate. They are asking it of you. You are not offering it, not "inflicting" it without their consent. Stop mixing bug chasing and malicious infection. It's manipulative to bundle them together.

As for your laughable "gun ownership doesn't escalate anything", I figure it doesn't need a comment from me.

Ask or not, it's inflicting suffering. If a guy asks me to shoot him in the leg, it's still assault. If some lady asks me to burn down her shed, it's still arson. Any time someone knowingly passes on HIV, it's assault, and should be criminalized.

And BTW, unless it's screened and certified volunteers in sanctioned medical research, any deliberate infection with a disease is malicious.

Unless there are cowards lacking in self-control present, the appearance of a gun calms things down.

Okay, or macho morons who think it's a challenge. But in all my years of being around and carrying a firearm, I have never seen the presence of a gun do anything make make people stop, think, and be polite.

Yeah, we already established you have little to no knowledge of life in the big cities. Which, ironically, is an answer to BOTH of the points in your above post.

I am sick of "defending" bug chasers as if it's something that can be defended. But I guess it's a natural response when seeing a lynch mob...

You mean I can go to a big city and shoot someone if they ask me to, and it's okay?

Disgusting.

It's often alarming, the wild conclusions you draw from people's posts...

What's alarming is your view that reality changes due to geographical location.

Inflicting harm on someone else is criminal, whether they ask for it or not. Crying about mental health doesn't change that -- people doing this should be locked up regardless, until they stop being destructive.

There is a difference between defending them and having a bit of compassion or empathy for them. Only someone who isn't capable of either wouldn't understand that IMO.

Also of note...the bug chasers and the bug givers (in these particular cases) are consenting adults...the person who knowingly infects an unwilling party is another subject.

I may not like what consenting adults do but my line is drawn in the sand...clearly...and once those conditions are met I respect the line that I have drawn. If you want to see my outrage...try rape...molestation...or even the guys who knowingly infect a partner who does not ask for it...those kinds of things I will never understand or defend because they involve an unwilling party.
