Bush trash talked the entire field

Not in the least. I could care less where whomever is president does their business. The partisan attack is your original post not my post and I argue that it does not matter in this connected world.

Simply because you framed the argument in a partisan way does not define my affiliation. You seek to define it yourself so that you can then apply the partisan attacks normally passed on these boards as a broad attack vice an individual attack.

I still fimly believe that the POTUS can conduct and does conduct business anywhere on earth.

Finally, I missed your incorrect assumption in your previous post that I was at sea and therefore disconnected. I choose not to wade into the swamp here. I have all the BW and connectivity required to post here day and night. Again, I choose not to. I am extremely bored this Saturday morning so i figured I would give it a shot. Being that the Democratic Party is in power you would think the tears would subside somewhat. They have not.

Perhaps another extended leave at sea is in order to help clear the "protect partisan bullshit because it's my party" out of your head.

What utter bullshit. I'm unaffiliated, but it is obvious you're just defending the two offenders because of their party.

Your argument is a partisan joke... that's the only reason why the argument is ended.

^ It doesn't help that you fabricate a partisan attack from where there was none---

You brought up and then continued the vein of argument assuming partisanship as a basis for my argument. So I once again question your ability to cleary understand the previous argument.

Your argument appears to be that I am partisan and dont ype very well so therefore you are correct. That doesnt pass the smell test.

Are you done with your sermon on the mount. Just for clarification, I have no god.

There is nothing wrong with doing his job from anywhere earth.

Not precisely. Actually you defined my politics long ago because I like some and not all of what occurs in govt. The same can be said for the current bunch of slugs.

I am liberally minded socially and damn near a neocon with foreign policy. I simply cant afford to live in the lets make happy face while the rest of the world pisses down our leg.

The same soft policies that allow Bin Laden to go free YEARS before the Sep 11th attacks despite the warnings. Just as a 'for instance' since you brought that up.

For a dollar anyone in politics will sell your Mother. So what is said in private is not so and that goes both ways. Look at Dick Morris.

I have no doubt ten minutes after Obama either concedes or accepts his second term, there will be fallout from his office...all in the glorious pursuit of the almighty dollar.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it hard to believe he said any of this. I mean, for four years, he spoke like a kindergardner with Down syndrome and now all of a sudden we get these coherent, scathing comments? I don't buy it. Sorry Dubya.

should i say it? ;)

maybe

it's

you

just teasing K

Dubya was by all accounts sharp witted - not necessarily a requirement for Pres. of the US

You know, as the commercial on the Rush show says, "People do judge you on your vocabulary, as unfair as that may seem." I think it's a "Hooked on Phonics" commercial -- hooked on sumpyhin'.

Um, is the argument "mute," as in silent, or "moot," as in "of no importance?" Just trying to understand -- you see, English is my primary language, I mean no harm.

if u really meant no harm............

u woulda let it go ;)

hmmm

im gonna do a jimmy carter

ur attacking a member of the military

therefore u are anti-military

How can you assume my admonition of you preaching to me is somehow related to the POTUS Job? Again reading AND understanding not simply applying your own prejudices is a requirement in comprehension.

And to counter, please provide me with some reason besides your perception that it is more expensive? What would render him unable to hear, read or be briefed on any situation and then follow thru with a decision?

I'll never understand your thinking, but then I have a two year old neice, and while I love her very much, she gets on my nerves because she cannot intelligently discuss architecture. So when she irritates me, usually when I'm discussing the merits of McKim Mead and White with a rapt listener, I usually tell her, "Mira, darling, Uncle Alfie doesn't have time right now for an incontinent, wobbly-legged, hateful little monster, so fuck off." Of course, I'd never say that to you, dear.

To the point, chance1: whether Mazda is a member of the military is unclear to me. However, if he is, and I dont't know that he is, I don't see how disagreeing with him is attacking the military.

For example, I disagree with my priest on his pronunciation -- he has a wicked Rhode Island accent. Does that mean I'm anti-Catholic? I disagree with my photo editor on technical matters -- does that make me anti-establishment? I disapprove of the manner in which my boyfriend makes coffee -- does that make me anti-coffee? CERTAINLY NOT!

I think you need to calm down -- have a mint!

first of all

love the house above - wow

and love the name "mira"

and love ur "interaction" with her - seems u treat everyone alike - soooo consistent - which is what i do ........... like about u

but i fear ......

that i overestimated ur brilliance or radar (gaydar?)

and i thought u and i had a "connection"

my anti military diddy was farcical ;)

premised on the idea thats currently making the rounds here and on leftwingnut tv/radio that if ur against a Pres Obama policy and say so well then ................... UR A RACIST - u just have to be

which is oh so silly and lame and substitutes for "news" in so many places it is scary

love the house;)

Mira and me get along great. I love buying her fashionable handmade clothes. At parties, I always say to her, "Circulate, darling, circulate!"

Doing historic architectural photography has lots of advantages, advantages I didn't have in Manhattan. Like, you know, people who give a fuck about the history of their homes and like to talk about it.

Very interesting story about the house. It's in the village of Ashaway, RI, which is part of the town of Hopkinton (founded 1669). It was badly damaged by the Great Hurricane of 1938 -- it lost much of its roof. Because of the incredible carnage from the hurricane in South County/Westerly, building supplies were scare for years. So when the plaster ceilings were replaced, the owner at that time used canvas as he was unable to find plaster. When a recent owner tried to paint what she thought was a plaster ceiling, she felt the ceiling move, got vertigo, and fell off the ladder and broke her hip. LOL! LOL! (She was a Republican bitch, so no one much cared.)

I'll be photographing the interior next month and it will be in Yankee magazine's September/October 2010 issue. It's truly a great house, one of the best in all Hopkinton, which, given its historic preservation movement, really is saying something.

circulate? that's so corporate - like being at a work function and saying to someone when their 5 minutes r up - im gonna go "mingle"

ur pictures r very good :D

how does such a diseased mind on one hand function so exquisitely on another ;)

going to pawtucket on wednesday

when she broke her hip did she press the button and say "i just fell and i can't get up ..............." ;)

i much prefer antiques to new stuff - with a few exceptions

When Bush spoke off-the-cuff, his own thoughts, without long statements, he was generally brilliant -- for example, with the workers at Ground Zero after 9/11.

But give him something someone else wrote, or require of him long statements, and he looked either robotic (his big speech after 9/11) or random (answering serious campaign questions, frequently).

He was good at coherent thought, even brilliant -- so long as they were short thoughts.

I think you need to calm down -- have a mint!

Can I have the U.S. Mint? I think that would calm me down. :D

The rest of us, accept life on life's terms. He's the President. He's still better than Mc Cain.We just hope he won't fuck things up too bad and his wishy washyness wont cost the Dems the White House in '12.

1. Yep.
2. OMG yes!
3. Hell yes, except...

I hope neither of the Big Two get the White House in '12. I know it's not likely, but I would so like to see some change I can believe in, which means someone who isn't tied down with the BS that the Republicrats and Demicans have been feeding us since before my first birthday.
