  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Camilla Parker Bowles.

I doubt Camilla will ever be queen, but should it happen I wouldn't mind.

I remember this. Good times.

^^It was all put on that wedding. Charles always loved Camilla.

They're signing pies here.

These are the kind of things Diana would do for her fans. It shows us Camilla is willing to make the nation happy.

They look like they get along fine to me.

You're right about Camilla's status. That she and Charles choose that she be styled Duchess of Cornwall is only because of their scandalous history and the power of the cult of Diana. Now that William has been made a duke, he properly signs his name as only "Cambridge". Harry isn't Prince Harry Windsor, he's Prince Harry of Wales, his father being Charles Prince of Wales. There are all sorts of rules and "rules" regarding usage, some have been codified for a long time, others no more than a few years--I'm sure a Google search will give you more information than you care to know. That Harry may sign his name or be referred to as "Harry Wales" probably has more to do with current fashion than any set rules. It's a whole other scene on the continent, particularly in countries where titles have been officially abolished.

I believe his actual name is Henry Windsor. Prince Henry (or popularly Harry) of Wales is a designation which will disappear when Charles succeeds to the crown.

Max you either have me on ignore or you don't, try and make up your mind, otherwise you just look even more clownish. #-o

When did I say I had you on ignore..?????

Are you MakeDigitalLove? Talking bollocks again.:=D::mrgreen::lol::rolleyes:;)

Hopefully we can put this behind us now and continue on with Camilla.

To be fair, Charles never said he wanted to sop up her menstrual fluids with his absorbent, cottony, hair. He only said he wanted to be her tampon, not accomplish anything whilst he was up there. Which fits his character more or less exactly.

I don't like foreigners criticizing the personal characters of the royals if they haven't met them.

Everyone has moved on from the whole Diana/Camilla thing, we all make mistakes and many were made on both sides, but Diana is no longer with us, sadly, but the vast majority of people love Camilla and all the amazing work she has done on behalf of the Queen.

Let the woman live her life without all these silly tampon jokes.

Who are these foreigners?

Non-English people who listen to second-hand gossip and who've never met the people they're gossiping about.

Professional celebrities —like the Kardashians and those in Hollywood's TrashLand — are paid to be gossiped-about. The English royals aren't paid anything like the Jardashians.

I'm curious. If everyone has moved on, why start the thread?

Only the Diana thing. She's more relevant now than ever.

She does a lot of work for the queen that a lot seem to forget about.

The other thing that bugs me is foreigners giving out advice that the Prince of Wales should immediately abdicate and hand the responsibility of the crown to the Prince William.

Where do they get this idea from? There isn't a precedent for this, is there?
