I was gonna have sex anyway. If I had sex with a boy in school that was my age... that would be ok? But If I was attracted to someone else... that makes it wrong? I enjoyed it and he did a MUCH better job then boys my age could have ever done.

I do agree in a sense that laws are put into place for a reason. MOST minors are developing. But as I look back, I DID want it. It was kinky for me to be so young with guys at such an older age. That's what turned me on as a kid. I went through puberty and I had a different sexual taste then other gay boys my age. Besides boys my age didn't know what they were doing.

Survivor my ass. As I get older now, I go for men even OLDER. Is that rape as well too hon? So as I keep going for older men I keep getting raped every time? I'm glad you read my post, but I believe you mis-read my intent. An explanation here would reduce the satirical bite, which I won't sacrifice. Since I'm over 40, consider that I may have Alzheimer's and am suffering confused and sudden rage.

I know I've had emotional issues. You are using something completely off subject to make me look bad and distract the board from the issue at hand. I'm not protecting anyone. Whenever a young adult comes forward and says they enjoyed sex with older adults as a minor, everyone tries to hush them up really fast and say they were not aware of it and how they are in some form of denial. They don't want that image to appear as normal so they can accuse others with more ease.

It's the same reason the religious right wants to shut out the image of a gay couple happily married with children so they can keep the image of a gay hooker with AIDS and leather pants.

alot of people go through emotional times in their lives, sometimes as a teen or young adult. Teens that are sometimes emotional isn't necessarily because they were sexually abused. I don't know where you get the idea that ALL people with emotional issues have been raped.

I get that and personally I think kids should wait. The few I have had ask me about sex, I tell to wait until they find a relationship with emotion before having sex. My point is that people are telling you that you were/are wrong for doing what many others have done.

Biologically we are adults when we start producing sperm or eggs. For most that is between 10 and 13. Do I think a 10 year old should be having sex, no I don’t, but that does not change the fact that biologically their bodies may be wanting it. Society says it is wrong. Biology says it is a norm. Social thought changes where biology stays pretty much the same. Why should we listen to something that changes with “the mood”?


This is an important topic that people are too scared to talk about, but it needs to be talked about. In government, homes, schools and even on the web. People say they are trying to protect the children, so lets protect the children. This topic should not be danced around, it too damn big. The fact of the matter is child sex laws are not solely to protect children, they are to protect the parents of children from having to parent, or deal with that their child may want things that they (the parents) are not ready for. Is this too say that all children are ready for sex, no it doesn’t. Its too say that parents don’t want to be parents fully. They want others to guide the kids.

I understand why people have a hard time with all of this. I do too for many reasons. Nothing for the better has ever came along by ignoring which needs to be dealt with. I am glad the mods have allowed this thread to say open. I hope it continues too.

The only *cure* is whether people can learn self-control. When you hit puberty, you tend to hit a point in your life when you become fixed on a particular type of people, looks, body shape, size, features, color, etc. That is very hard to change.

Children are non-sexual, and pedophiles need to learn that.

I don't understand age of consent laws. Do we have them because we don't really know how to tell when a person is mature enough to know if they can handle it? I would say we don't. How do you know if someone is ready to make that decision? I really think 16 is too young for some.
