I read "Fish" this past summer. It is an eye opening book about prison life, being owned by someone, prison rape and prison life and survival. The author, I believe was gay when he entered prison. He has lived to tell his experience and is an loving relationship with another man.

Sexual desires are hard to repress, particularly in males, and thus in isolated situations like prisons a straight male can seek for comfort in other males but is still straight. Similarly, if the person has gay potentials, then he will discover his gay sides.

I wouldn't call these situations a change of sexuality.

No, it can't. Yes, male inmates might have sex with each other but that's because they can't get any women (for the most part.
Rape also doesn't count. 99% of the time, when inmates get out of prison, they go back to what they really want...women.

My 46yr old Uncle has Lived a Prison life since he was about 25...He can't Kill "The Drug Dealer" that Lives inside of him..He's a "Corner Drug Dealer" that only makes a Couple-hundred bucks here and there....He'll be spending Christmas in Prison and I have no idea when he's up for Parole. He writes my Mother and she visits him.

My uncle is tall, built and very Good-looking and he's the type that will Fight you if you get in his Face......I always wondered why he would continue committing the SAME crime knowing he'd eventually get caught and sent back to Prison...

Good-Looking Men are EASY targets regardless of their "strength/masculinity"....He is either not afraid of being Raped because he knows the Guards & "lifers" or he's gotten use to having Sex with Men. I wonder how he's dealt with that? The times he's been paroled I NEVER asked him about Prison life because we're never in the same place at the same time. To be honest if we were in the same room I really don't know what I'd say to him because the 25yr old uncle I remember is GONE...He even has a Grandchild that has never laid eyes on him...

My Mother's older Drug-addict brother was Murdered by one of his Drug-addict best friends and if my youngest uncle doesnt change when he gets out of Prison for the Millionth time he'll probably leave this world the same way...

When I think about my Uncles I get too upset to Cry...

I'll just guess that 60 to 80% of people have at least some bisexual potential that never goes anywhere unless they are in the right circumstances.

Having worked at a minimum security jail (not long term imprisonment) I'd say about 80% of guys would fuck other guys just for the sake of fucking. only once did I discover the guys "love" one another. So I agree with him ^ i couldn't have sex with a women even if the repopulation of earth depended on it. So if I'm the last man on earth we are screwed

Good question, but there are far fewer homosexuals then there are heteros. Maybe we'll have a better answer once any sexual oreintatin is nothing out if the norm.

LIke I said,IMO it's not love 99% of the time, it's the fact most of the time in prison, the only thing a guy can put his dick into is another man.
I've only known one case where two prison inmates who had no prior same sex experiences (or so they say) stay together after they get out. The rest simply went back to what they really wanted all along..a woman.

You're basing your Thoughts on MEN Locked up, period...Let's not even talk about how the Loss of Freedom affecting "the mind".....A Straight Woman might have sex with another Straight or Gay Woman in Prison as well...A Gay Woman might not want to have Sex with a Man if she was the Last woman on earth but you know good and well she'd have no other choice but to give it up...

None of us knows what we would do if we were put in those situations...I believe Straight people are straight & Gay people are Gay.....The word "sorta" is never in the mix...

I'm Bisexual so I sorta like both.........
