This seems to be my experience, too. My friend complained "there's six bottoms for every decent top," which seemed a bit on the high side. But let's just say I haven't anybody upset that I was a top.

While I would say I'm versatile, with the hubby I probably top about 70% of the time.

I've actually always wondered why so many who label themselves as TOP AND/OR BOTTOM, tend to want to do it one way, and NEVER the other way? (OK, the "and" part does mean both. So sue me.)

Those two genres of homosex have their own attributes of enjoyment, and some of the attributes (such as the two men being very physically closely "attached" to each other) occur in both forms. I've never figured out why there seem to be so few people who both enjoy "taking it" AND fucking, but I've gathered that being "versatile" is rare.

Being versatile also means that sex isn't always "the same" or close to it, every time. (I'm not including any kink in this, which indeed can and will open up a much wider experimentation and variety in sex.)
