This evil harridan (with tenure) spent 30 years deliberately inflicting emotional traumas on hundreds of young children to make up for her own numerous shortcomings.

THat's funny, my first grade teacher was Mrs. Welch too.

But she wasn't a bitch.

My third grade teacher Mrs. Baca and my fifth grade teacher Mrs. Atkinson were both cunts. FUCK I hated them.

K- Mrs. Stone (I remember because it came to light that I couldn't make an 'S' sound and kept calling her 'Mmm Tone' let's hear it for speech therapy)

1st- Mrs. Mackecknie. She was young, had straight brown hair down past her waist, and on the first day of class sat us all down on the floor in a circle grabbed her guitar and sang to us Joni Mitchell's 'Both Sides Now'. It was love at first sight....or something like it.

All of 5'2" tall, and became one of my biggest fans as I got older.

Apparently she even kept a scrap book of my accomplishments.

My K teacher was Ms. Moran but she married the gym teacher and is now Mrs. Grace. They actually live about two houses down from me lol. The only vivid thing I remember about the class was she had the TV on in the classroom and was watching Clinton being sworn into office. Such an obscure thing for a 5 year old to remember but w/e.

Most of the lyrics floated right over my head, of course. But, no matter.
She looked and sounded like something sent straight from heaven. It's a favorite memory of mine.

i can only go as far back as the 6th grade - Miss von Bonnick - they informed her that a very shy young student was about to enter her class.

she was wonderful.

because of an event in early childhood, my memory of that period of time in my life only really begins at about the age of 8-9 - with just brief events or persons prior to that time being remembered.

Her name was Mrs. Kane.

If I had stayed in the district long enough to get to grades 4 through 6, my teacher would have been Mrs. Nutt. Beverly Nutt.
