Can you sleep easily?

I am a firm believer in not looking at the computer after 7pm at night and not having any music or tv in the bedroom. Having said this, I also have to take Trazadone to help me sleep through the night. It works. In fact, it probably has helped save my life by helping me to shut down and not work for about 7 hours every day.

I admire your discipline but I might suffer if only able to shut down and not to work for 7 hours only :(. For me, I need at least 4 hours daily- "ME" time thinking Im a forest spirit; singing and dancing without care and then sleep. I used to think that vacation might help rejuvenating, vacation is good but my body can't stand still until vacation (the gap is too wide from one vacation to the next).

So, Im talking about the "hyper activity" before bedtime, I believe your discipline might work effectively to everyone but I still need 4 hours- before sleep time to be completely self indulging. Problem is: not everyday I have that luxury, resulting decreasing work performance..:(

Is this your role-playing time? :-)

No, unfortunately ^^ just me with my solitaire game, hidden objects game or any casual game that can be played in laptop

I'm not a great sleeper, though I've met worse.

to fall asleep, I generally require darkness (tv, lights, cannot be on) and quiet. I also require at least 6" of free space around my nose/mouth. but once I'm already asleep, noise/light won't wake me up unless it's extreme.

I can sleep while cuddling (as long as the aforementioned free space need is met), but not if my partner is breathing on me (which usually means that I'm the big spoon, with my neck/head at an angel upward, or me on my back with my partner's head on my chest).

I can deal with being touched while I sleep, but any kind of motion is going to wake me up. my partner and I have occasional spats about this because he likes to give me backrubs in my sleep or hump me. feels great, but the movement is going to wake me up. feel free to rest your hand on my stomach, back, ass, whatever, but once you start moving it, the rhythm will wake me up.

on the upside, I don't snore, drool, or move a lot in my sleep (unless my sleeping partner is violating one of the above rules, in which case I'll find myself edging closer to the side of the bed to get some space. I've actually fallen out of the bed a couple times with my current boyfriend because of this)

Not really, I need music to soothe me into "sleep mode" lol...

If I'm extremely tired or drunk, I concuss on my bed till I'm well-rested.

no but lucky to average 7 hours on trazadone. If you havent taken it do. safer than ambien and works like a gem but not always :)

My question is: how can you go to sleep with all that muscles? :?

I generally sleep well and have no problem falling asleep and staying asleep, but I am awakened easily. I have a lot of daytime energy and don't require lots of sleep. 7 hours max. What normally awakens me at night are kids or pets. One of our cats is very vocal at night.

I don't believe anyone has mentioned daily coffee/soda/caffeine consumption.

I take after my father, who could sleep almost anywhere and anytime. (So does my brother.) This has come in handy with my current job, where I work unusual and seemingly random hours. It's a blessing.

I don't like falling asleep with the TV on (I had an ex who did, and found it very annoying). I like it dark, but I can sleep in mid-afternoon as needed.

It takes me awhile to fall asleep
I frequently wakeup just about an hour before my alarm goes off in the morning (and generally don't fall back asleep so I just lay there & rest for that time)
Also the only place I can really sleep well is laying in my own bed
Oh and I like having some light on too...

Seee when i first posted I was sleeping like a baby. Then my body came back and lets me know that i was a bit too harsh on it for the first three decades.... now I just hurt and it is hard to sleep or stay that way. I take Russian Sominex though and that helps....
