Can you smell Christmas yet?

I work for a retailer and our xmas started last month. We will process over 20000 xmas trees. We do this every year and it makes me wonder who the hell buys these trees every year. When I was growing up, we kept a tree for years.

Ok, today is the second day of cold winter weather (meaning no [sockless, obviously] loafers and, most importantly, GLOVES) and with rain... hell, stormy rain... street lighting is almost all up, since next Friday it finally gets glowing.

So it's most definitely Xmastide, no matter what you fuckers say about turkeys and black Fridays and all that shit

I will say that I will be very thankful come this Thanksgiving. Will be the first family gathering 'round the dinner table in a few years and I will get to see one of my aunts whom I haven't seen in quite some time. Also the only day of the year when I will allow myself to get stuffed (pun not intended). As for Black Friday...no thanks but I don't enjoy getting trampled over in the freezing cold. Nothing is worth getting even at a super discount for that.

you just need to be the one doing the trampling

(as a side note I'm sure I'll be out there (as always) on what basically should now be called Black Thursday

Normally not until after Thanksgiving but my husband is gonna be here this year for Christmas and our anniversary so I'm excited.

^'Twas just a traditional one. Nothing fancy. It's sitting in my office now. It perplexes my students and colleagues.

I think the caganer itself was 12 Euros or so. The total cost came to about $40.
