I repaired some sets of xmas lights yesterday (& am modifying a set right now LOL)

We got some snow wed & thurs nights :)

I so hate Vera Ellen's appearances: that poor girl had no particular greater talent for dancing, but they featured her bleached mane, her legs and her bumpy bust in goofy choreographies that masked her mediocrity under an apparent refreshing perkiness because... what Hollywood producer could ever think of making money with a talented young male dancer with a great body who could ocassionally divert a certain part of the audiences from the Astaire and the hot chick of the moment, whether that be the amazingly talented like Cyd Charisse, or just a candy for stale tongues like Vera Ellen?
 
I'm asking... I mean that Hollywood directors are often blind concerning all those actress, because they are sexy, catchy or what you mean and it's still the same thing in the nineties. Who are the great hollywood actress in the nineties belamo ?

So what is the excuse now that Halloween and the election are through... waiting for that Friday after Thunksday Giving?
 
That day after thanksgiving is for shopping ... (or atleast recovering from late-night/early morning shopping LOL)

(personally I've been digging out lights & stuff .. & have started ... ofcourse nothing is turned on yet / won't be til after thanksgiving)
 
I got dumped on by a very Christmassy looking tree today all snow covered. ANd tonight it is already -22c outside so yeah it feeld like the season is here!
 
Home Depot has a couple of rows of "live" Christmas trees for sale by the front doors (potted, ready to be planted after Christmas). It definitely smells like Christmas. They also offer trees that can be ordered online that come in a box via overnight express that are shipped within 24 hours of being cut so that they should easily last through the holidays. It still seems a little early to start Christmas stuff.
