Yesterday was my first no-gloves day... although only during daylight

Balmy... the tourists seem to have come with the rain, because they suddenly popped up everywhere in the typical seasonal massive way. Of course there have been warm weeks during winters, as usual, but now the light clothes of winter are geting skimpy. Spring Break, I guess.

I think it's wonderful that Europeans wear gloves. We just let our hands get cracked and chapped throughout the length of the winter, which will be with us for another 6 weeks. It's not that people don't have gloves here or understand their basic utility, but you just never see them on. Unless someone is skiing or shovelling the driveway or something. But just for going to and fro? It's a strangely alien concept.

Still frost in the morning, but crocus and daffodils are up, and bushes buds are starting to peek open!!

Well, just like over here: elderly people and "ladies" (young and older) are the only group of people who wear them... and since I partake of both groups, and I love the look they give, I wear them too myself
I still would need to go to Madrid to have at least one proper hat custom made, but I also first need to get a clearer idea of the design.

No.

Canada does not count: it's the land of the 0.4 seasons.

Spring arrived last week, expecting snow tomorrow, so winter returns!

I've smelled Spring for over a week or so know. Today was nice high 50's.

LOL. Fuck Puxatony Phil. Spring did not come early this year and there was in fact "6 more weeks of winter".

Don't really get the hype over spring. I hate summer anyway

Not at all. Where I am, there is a LOT of snow, and none of it is melting yet, because the temperature is still below freezing.
Flooding is to be expected as well because we go so much snow this year... I'm really not looking forward to spring.

<ignoring the calender>
Is it spring yet?...
hmmm...

I went for a walk today in a short sleeved shirt .. sometimes can do that in winter though hmmm...

Looking up at some of the trees ... the buds are open maybe?

i don't want to smell the spring because i have allergies. :( i would rather smell wintertime where i'm prone to catch the flu. the flu might not come but the allergies most definitely will. :(

Some people here are already starting to complain about allergies, because of the trees that are blooming/budding

Really too early for all that

If I were in Granada, I would be reeking the spring right now... wait, what about geloge?
