Does anyone remember a film that starred Guy Pearce and Robert Cardayle titled RAVENOUS ? It was pretty kick ass and was based around this same subject, with the story that the military settlement was low on food and no end in sight and so one by one they start offing each other and eating the flesh. What I find interesting is the belief that once you consume the flesh of a warrior, say his heart or brains, you 'gain' his power and strength and therefore he/she becomes apart of you and you can 'use' their knowledge and power now when before you could not. And there are some recent scientific studies now that show this legend may indeed have some serious factual binding to make it plausable, thanks to transplat patience gaining new skills and tastes that had only previously belonged to the deceased members from which they gained their transplanted limbs.

That's a hard question. i'd like to say I wouldn't turn to canabalism to survive, but i don't know what I'd do if i was starving and had absolutely nothing else to eat...eww thinking about it really is un-nerving.
