Who knows? Maybe Hamas will kidnap him and keep him for 444 days, just so he knows what it feels like. Of course, he can build them a slew of new homes while he's there.

It's really absurd for Carter, Kofi Anon, and Nelson Mandela to meet with Khaled Meshaal to try to promote peace.

The Israeli policy of walling off the Palestinians, depriving them of access to material resources, and attacking them is far more likely to garner Palestinian cooperation.

One wonders why Carter and Kofi Anon are reluctant to listen to Condi's pleas that they not try to bring peace to the region.

The Bush Administration's policy of bringing (ever yet more) war to the Middle East has been remarkably successful in stabilizing the region, to date.

I am 100% against this! Baking a bundt cake? I am opposed to bundt cake and I honestly don't even think it should be allowed to be called a cake. The KEY item in a cake is the frosting. As far as I'm concerned a bundt cake is a regular donut in a fancy pan with chocolate coating drizzled on the top. Or worse...powdered sugar coating the top...you need a gallon of milk to get it down.

You know that hole in the middle? Fill it to the top with icing.

..|Viola!

Meeting with terrorist, even elected ones, whether in Iran or Palestine, give credance to their cause and encourages continuation of their policies of destruction.

i hate how the word terrorism gets thrown about as if its a concrete concept. Guys what guys, its not! Its very gray area deciding what is terrorism and what is not. It vastly depends on which side your on. Cuz the palestinians think the isralis are terrorists, and the isralis think palestinians are terrorists. to just flat out say that the palestinians are terrorists minimizes the complexity of the situation in the middle east and makes u sound quite ignorant

That makes so much sense! World leaders getting together to try to find ways to bring peace to an area is a disastrous formula for terrorism!

I see you belong to the George W. Bush school of diplomacy. The only way to bring peace to a people is to attack them.

I did not say we should attack them. You fail to read or understand.

When is the last time you walked across the street to a man yelling obscene insults about your homosexuality and said "Hey man lets talk and I know we can find common ground"

Some people would consider the United States "terrorists" for doing what we're doing in the Middle East. Does that mean that world leaders should not meet with us, since others consider us terrorists?

I don't see any harm in Carter meeting with Hamas, there could be something positive come from it and Carter has a rather unique position around the world. I would draw the line at a sitting President meeting with some of these rogue leaders like Obama wants to do.

I know, Clinton met with Jerry Adams, but Adams was a political operative for the IRA.

for those of us who think there was history before the Clinton era, the bringing of a cake is nothing, not compared to Ollie North and Robert McFarland on Reagan's behalf bringing pistols and a Bible and a key-shaped cake to the ayatollah.

Carter's cake is cheap to the pistols, Bible, and a cake.

Moral: if Reagan gives cake, pistols, and a Bible to terrorists, it is ok. If that nasty wasty Carter does it, he deserves ridicule on a gay message board.

Carter is irrelevant and with his irrelevant nobel peace prize award, he will always be remembered as one of the worst presidents, even worser than Bush.

At first this statement confused me but then it was clear - that grammar usage proves for a fact that this poster is actually George W Bush himself! :gogirl:

WHAT?

What planet are you from?

Log Cabin Republicans...

Such an enlightened Point of view. . . There's no way to make sense of this opinion other than to understand it as unthinking.

This attitude is nothing but oppositional, and will never address the problem, but only continue to create more people willing to give their lives to terrorism. It's also an anti-human rights stance. If you give a man no hope, he will strike back because he has nothing to lose.

^^ Does not comprehend sarcasm.

On the other hand stability isnt reached of course but warheads on foreheads has certainly been met.

Mazda, What the hell are you talking about? None of this post makes any sense.
