Generally, we use a credit card, which is paid off at the end of each month. We're accumulating "cash points". :)

>>> I dislike cash, especially since they've redesigned paper money so that it looks tacky.

Congrats on easily the gayest answer in the thread. :)

I almost always my various credit cards because I am a college student and I am trying to build my credit.

I once watched as a woman in Price Chopper paid for a 69¢ tub of generic margarine with a Visa credit card. I thought, "If you're going to put it on a credit card, at least buy something that tastes better than that stuff."

For myself, I usually have some cash in my pocket for the quick trips to the grocery store, but I usually pay with my debit card for the more costly purchases. I rarely use my debit card for anything else and I never take my credit card out of the house.

I usually use my debit card for just about everything, large or small. Mostly for the points I get for each purchase. Most places now won't ask for a signature unless its over $25

i use my debit card for almost everything except things over 200 bucks or so. recently my account got "hacked" or whatever they call it now days so i'm considering switching to only using a credit card and then paying it off at the end of each month.

Cash for pretty much everything. It keeps me in tune with the value of money, also means there is never a eisk of spending what I don't have and I hate being behind people paying by card as it takes so long even these days. I have been known to ask the super market cashier "Do you still take cash?" it never fails to raise a wry smile!
