Hey guys!
This is my first time writting a story on here, or ever actually. Some of the characters based in the story are based off the people in my life but their names have been changed to protect the innocent. Hope you enjoy!! (oh and btw the - in front of words means its a text message)

Chapter 1

What do you and six of your friends do on a Friday night, around 12:30, when you are in college? The answer to that is obliviously go to Steak N’ Shake! And that’s just what my friends and I did one night. We were all just hanging out and bored so it was suggested to get some burgers. Since there were so many of us, we had to take two cars. In one car was me, my best friend Jamie, her roommate Robin and Cam. The other car was my roommate Bobby, Brandy and Tina. When we got there the place was pretty much deserted besides the people working there, it was after midnight after all.

I’m sorry I lost my manners; I totally forgot to introduce myself. My name is Calvin Williams; I’m 19 and a sophomore at a college outside of St. Louis. I’m not exactly the tallest guy around (I’m about 5’6”), I have light brown hair and green eyes. I’m not in horrible shape but I’m also not muscular either, I guess you could say average. I’ve been told I’m cute but I personally don’t see it. Anyways enough about me, let’s get back to the story.

Our group pretty much had the place to ourselves and we were having a blast! We were all talking and laughing, we were being kind of loud but who isn’t when they are with their friends? About halfway through our meal another group of seven walked in, 3 girls and 4 guys. They took a long table next to ours. From where I was sitting, their table was in my direct line of sight. I could tell from the way the group sat that the3 girls were there with their boyfriends and then an extra guy who was like a seventh wheel. I kind of felt bad for the guy having to tag along with his buddies and their girlfriends.

When I wasn’t talking or invested in my friends’ conversations, I would “stare off into space” at their table. Not in a creepy way but in an observant-people-watching way. There were a couple times the seventh wheel guy and I made eye contact for a second and then one of us would look away. I should probably take this time to describe him. I could tell from when he walked in that he was tall I’d say about 6 foot, he had short brown hair and the sleeves of his blue plaid shirt were strained against his biceps. All in all he was pretty good looking and found that my “stare off into space” look was almost always centered on him. Jamie was sitting in the seat to my right so I leaned over and asked her what she thought of him.

“He looks like a seventh wheel” she responded

“I thought so too” I said “He’s pretty cute too”

“Yea he is good looking. His friends look like d-bags though”

“Mhmm but do you think he does?” I asked

“Not really. Oh my gosh! You had a breakthrough! You think a guy is cute that doesn’t look like a total douche. I’m so proud!” Jamie excitedly whispered to me. It’s known within my friend group that the kind of guys I like almost always give off a douche bag vibe.

“Thanks” I chuckled and then we went back into conversations with our friends. I could tell that the closer our group got to being done with our food, the seventh wheel kept looking at us. When the waitress gave us or receipts, he got up from his table and walked towards ours. He stopped in front of the open seat caddy-corner from me and said hey. Some of us, myself included, responded with some form of a greeting.

“Do you mind if I sit down real fast?” he asked looking in my general area. His voice was deep, but not super deep. It seemed to fit perfectly with the way he looked.

“Sure, go ahead” a couple of us responded

“Thanks. I’m Scott” he said as he held his hand out to me

“Calvin” I replied as I shook his hand. His hand was massive and you know what
they say about big hands ;). I could feel butterflies in my stomach as I was looking in his eyes; they were a very pretty blue by the way.

“Nice to meet you” Scott said with a smile, he had such a cute smile “I can see you guys are getting ready to go but I just wanted to ask something real fast. I was wondering if I could get your number and ask you out sometime.” There was a tone in his voice that made him sound nervous, and that made him so much cuter. I couldn’t believe that a guy was asking me out! It’s something that I’m not accustomed to, let alone by a cute guy.

“Yeah sure” I responded with a smile. I wrote my name and number on a napkin and handed it to him. He took it, said thanks and then went back to his table. My group proceeded to get up to go pay our bills. I looked back and Scott had a huge grin on his face as he stuck the napkin in his pocket and was talking with his friends.

Out in the parking lot, everyone was all “aww” and “that was so cute”. Jamie told me that she always knew I could get a good looking guy.

“Man I was hoping he was coming over to talk to me.” Cam said, there was a slight hint of jealousy in his voice. Cam is a Freshmen at my school and he is the friend I’m the least close with. Bobby and Brandy work as desk managers at Cam’s dorm so that’s how he became a part of our group. As we were getting back in the car, I felt my phone vibrate. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw I had a text from an unknown number.

-Hey this is Scott :-)

-Well you don’t waste much time lol

-I just know what I want when I see it :D

Scott and I kept texting the entire way back to the dorm and I was sitting in my room. Our conversation was mostly flirtatious. It wasn’t very deep; we just asked the typical ‘get-to-know-each-other’ stuff. I found out that he’s 23 and a recent college graduate. He lives in St. Louis and works in an advertising firm, which was his major. It was getting pretty late and I found myself struggling to stay awake while waiting for a response.

-Hey, I’m feeling tired so I think I’m going to go to bed.

-Oh wow, yea it is getting pretty late lol but can I ask you just one more question?

-Totally!

-Would you like to go on a date Friday night?

-I would love too! :D

-Awesome! I’ll text you tomorrow :D Goodnight!

-Goodnight!

That was the end of our conversation for the night. I couldn’t believe the way my night had gone. Never in a million years did I think that I would meet a guy who would be interested in me at Steak N’ Shake! My body was exhausted but my mind was racing with the possibilities of things that could happen Friday night. I had never been on a date before and had no clue what to expect. I can honestly say that for the first time in a while I fell asleep with a huge grin on my face.

This sounds positively intriguing ... look forward to seeing where things lead!

Thanks man! I'm working on the second chapter now and hope to have it up as soon as possible.

This may be your first attempt at writing a story but you ceertqinly have the knack! You have made a great start and I for one eagerly await the continuation!

Kudos for a great beginning, accord98. Welcome to the story forum. I love romance and how romantic can you get by meeting at Steak n Shake.....lol Can't wait for Friday nights date.

Hey guys, sorry its taken me a while to post the next chapter. I had to break this chapter into two because I was afraid it was too long. I'll to post the second half within the next few days. Thanks for all the views and reviews, they really put me into a writing mood.

Chapter 2 Part I

I woke up Saturday morning around 9 am feeling with the most positive outlook on life. Last night had been so unexpectedly great that I had to check my text messages to make sure I hadn’t dreamed it. A big grin spread across my face when I realized that it was real life, I could have shouted with excitement if my roommate hadn’t been sleeping about 4 feet away from me. There was so much energy inside of me dying to be released that I decided to hit the small gym my dorm had attached. And by small I mean a tiny room with a couple treadmills, a stationary bike and a couple ellipticals. Sure my college has a huge recreational center with a lot more equipment but I didn’t feel like leaving the building.

I got out of bed and changed into athletic shorts and a t-shirt. I grabbed my iPod and set it to my workout playlist, tied up my tennis shoes and headed down. I decided to leave my phone in my room so that I wasn’t distracted by incoming texts. I worked out for about 30 minutes, enough to use up my built up energy and also break a sweat. When I got back to my room, I was getting ready to get my shower stuff and head to the bathroom when I saw I had a text message. I opened it up to see that it was from Scott.

-Good morning! I hope this doesn’t wake you up; I just got up and was thinking of you :)

Probably the cutest text I have ever gotten! We haven’t gone a date, hell we haven’t even known each other for 24 hours, and he was already sending me adorable texts and thought me when he woke up. I have a feeling this guy is a keeper I thought to myself.
-Good morning to you too! No you didn’t wake me up; I just got done working out.

I hopped in the shower and when I got out I continued my conversation with Scott. We didn’t talk about anything significant, just mostly random things about ourselves. Jamie and I always get lunch together around noon on the weekends and this Saturday was no different. I met her at the stairs and we walked to the cafeteria.

“So guess what!” I exclaimed as we walked

“Is this about that guy last night?” she asked

“Yeah it is.”

“Hmm well you seem really happy so I’m guessing it’s big” she said sort of thinking out loud “I’ve got it! He’s the sole heir to the throne of a small country we have never heard of! And he needs to get married before he can start learning the duties of a royal so he came to America to find himself a spouse. But he’s gay so his country had to legalize gay marriage so they could have a king and not fall into anarchy. So he happens to eat at Steak n’ Shake when we do because he’s hungry. That’s when he spots you and thinks ‘oh he could make fine royal and husband’, that’s why he asked for your number. Now he has told you the truth and you’re leaving tomorrow because he has until 48 hours to be married before a rival evil family takes his rightful crown!”

Since you guys don’t know Jamie, this may seem rather odd and a random situation she just described. However, Jamie is always coming up with these ridiculous stories and is very big hopeless romantic.

“Wow…well umm that’s not what I was going to say at all. It makes my news seem rather dull now though.” I replied

“Oh come on, just tell me!” she insisted

“Scott asked me on a date on Friday!” I said excitedly

“What?! Oh my gosh that’s great!” Jamie shrieked

The rest of the day was uneventful, as was Sunday through Thursday. Throughout the week all my friends found out about my hot date, and they all pretty much reacted like Jamie. On Fridays I don’t have class, which is pretty nice, so I meet my friend Skylar at the gym. First we hit the elliptical and then walked around the track a couple times to cool down.

“You were really going hard on the machine” Skylar said

“Yea, I’m trying to lose some last minute weight” I responded

“Last minute weight?” she asked.

“I have a date tonight!” I explained. I told her all about how I met Scott at Steak n’ Shake and how we’ve been texting all this time. She was happy for me and then we headed towards the cafeteria. When I got my phone out of the gym locker, I saw I had a message from Scott.

-Good morning cutie! Can’t wait to see you tonight :)

-Morning, me either!

-I can’t wait for you to see what I have planned, I’m sure you’re going to love it. I’ll pick you up at your building around 6:30
.
I told Scott how to get to my dorm. He told me that he had to get back to work since his lunch break was over. The rest of my day was spent trying to think of what exactly he had planned for our date. Would we stay in town, or would we drive into St. Louis? Would it be a typical, almost cliché, but also sweet date of dinner and a movie? Or would we do something so something I couldn’t even think of? So many different ideas went through my head. Before I knew it, it was time for me to get ready. Scott had told me that it was more casual than formal to my relief since I didn’t have a whole lot of dress clothes at school with me. I decided on a pair of dark Old Navy blue jeans that showed off my butt and legs without being skin tight. I paired them with a dark gray American Eagle button down with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows, but decided to not tuck it in. I was putting on my brown Sperry’s when I got a text from Scott saying he was in the parking lot.

I got down to the lobby and could see only one car in the circle drive. It was a cherry red Chevy Camaro. I’m not much of a car guy, but I can tell a hot car when I see it and let me tell you this car was hot! I walked out the door to find an even hotter guy leaning against the hood. Scott had a blue V-neck sweater that hugged his body wonderfully and a pair of light washed jeans. As I walked to the passenger side, he opened the door for me (who says chivalry is dead?) and then walked around to get into the driver’s seat.

“You look great!” he said as we pulled out of the parking lot.

“Thanks, you clean up pretty good yourself” I replied. “So where are we going tonight?”

“Ah that’s for me to know and for you to find out” he responded as he flashed me a smile. God his smile was so cute. He was being evasive about our plans, which made me only want to know what they were more!

Time for that special date. The update has me very intrigued. Don't wait too long to post the rest of the chapter.

Chapter 2 Part II

As we pulled out of the parking lot of my dorm, I wondered if Scott knew how to get around town since he wasn’t from here. But surprisingly he was going along with the greatest of ease, if I didn’t know better I would have thought he was from my college town.

“You sure know you’re way around town” I said with a slight chuckle.

“Thanks to Google maps, I’ve spent the past few days memorizing how to get to a few places in town so I can make this a full surprise and not ask you how to get here and there. Speaking of here” he replied as he parked the car. I guess I was so taken aback by the fact that he memorized the town layout for out date that I didn’t realize where we were headed. We were parked outside of a local restaurant, 75th Avenue Grill. It was the perfect place for a casual date. It’s a nice date restaurant but it also fits well for just a bunch of friends getting together too. We were seated, and given a few minutes to look over the menu before our waitress came back and took our order.

“I’ve never been here but the reviews online were good, I hope you like it” Scott said as our waitress left with our order. I thought I heard a hint of worry in his voice, but maybe I was mistaken.

“Oh yea I love this place!” I exclaimed

“You do? Oh good! I’ve was a little worried that I just so happened to pick a place that you hated.” He revealed “I would have felt horrible”

“Nothing to worry about here. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve had great food every time.” I said. It was then that I realized that we haven’t talked about if we were ‘out’ or not. I mean he approached me in public so I assumed he was but you never know.

“So I’ve kind of assumed this answer already but I feel like I should ask anyways. Are you out? I assume so because you asked me out in public and in front of your friends” I asked

“Yeah I’m out” he said with slight chuckle and a smirk “I’m assuming that you are too since you responded with a ‘yes’ instead of an insult towards gays”

“You would assume correctly” I said. It was a relief to hear him say that he was out. The only other guys who have been interested in a relationship with me were still in the closet and it made it a little difficult to do things together. Our waitress came back with our food. We chatted as we ate, talking about our weeks or other random things about our lives.

“This was a lot of fun” I said as we were walking back to his car

“What makes you think this is the end?” he said with that devilish smirk that he does oh so well

“Oh there’s more?” I inquired

“Get in the car and find out” Scott said. That was an offer that I couldn’t refuse, so I climbed into the passenger side and we left the restaurant.

“So what’s part 2 of tonight’s plans?” I asked

“You’re not one for surprises are you?” he replied looking over at me

“I just like to be in the loop” I answered “Is that a bad thing?”

“Nah it’s not a bad thing. I think it’s cute actually” This guy sure knows the right things to say!

“So since you think it’s cute that I like being in the loop, why don’t you tell me where we are headed?”

“Is that manipulation I sense? It’s right what people say, you do have to watch out for the nice ones! But nice try, just because I think it’s cute doesn’t mean I’m going to ruin the surprise. Besides we are here so consider yourself in the loop.” He replied as we pulled into the parking lot of Theodore’s. Theodore’s is huge place on the outskirts of town that is like a giant arcade. They have ski ball, bowling, laser tag, arcade games and countless other things to do.

“Two for laser tag please” Scott asked the person behind the counter.

“Laser tag huh?” I asked as he turned and handed me my ticket

“Yea laser tag, hope it’s not too childish” he responded

“Oh its perfectly fine, I just hope you’re ok with losing”

“Oh but it is you is going up against a pro laser tagger, so don’t worry about me losing”

“We’ll see about that” I replied as we walked into the laser tag arena. There was a bigger in there and, lucky for us, just two things of equipment (a vest and gun) left. The worker in charge put us into two different teams, red vs blue. I was on the red team and Scott on the blue. The rules were pretty simple. You had 20 minutes in the arena, you had to protect your base while you attempted to get the other teams and if you were shot by the enemy you were frozen or unable to shoot for 15 seconds. After the worker explained the rules, he let us in the arena and started the time.

My group elected me to protect our base, which was the in the inside of a faux tree, as everyone else set out to find the other team’s base. I stood inside the trunk of the tree shooting random members of the blue team but they managed to gang up on me and score. I hadn’t seen Scott all game until the clock was counting down from a minute. By this time it was neck and neck in the points and one point could win or lose the game.

“Calvin” I heard my name whispered on the other side of the tree

“What?” I asked as I went to where I heard my name

“Gotcha!” was all I heard before being side pushed into the side of the wall and my light going off showing I was shot. Scott had tricked me and pinned me up against the side of the tree, right next to the point that had to be shot to get points. I was frozen for 15 seconds as the countdown was now at 16 and declining.

“Looks like you’ll get unfrozen with a second to stop me from shooting the target” he smirked as he enjoyed taunting me with his inevitable victory.

“The red team could always score” I responded

“I highly doubt that. The rest of my team is in our base protecting our target.”

Then the countdown reached 2 seconds of play time as Scott raised his gun and shot the winning point. BLUE TEAM WINS was blared throughout the arena. At that exact moment Scott wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into him. Then he kissed me. It started off sweet but quickly turned passionate as I wrapped my arms around his neck. His lips were so soft and his tongue knew exactly what to do as it entered my mouth. It felt like we had been doing this for hours when our lips finally broke apart.

“I win” he whispered as he leaned into me. He was right he had won. He knew that he won at laser tag. But if we were playing Let’s See Who Can Fall First, he would have been declared the winner there too because boy was I falling!

Wow! That was faster than I expected, but what a pleasant surprise, Accord. I like this date and the choices made by Scott. I think Calvin definitely has a winner.

I'm heading back to school today after a week of spring break. I'll be writing at school but I dont know when I'll get the chance to post it next.

Hey guys, I'm home for the summer so I'll try to have a new chapter up asap!

Looking forward to it, Accord. There's still a lot left in the evening at the arcade. It will be exciting to find if there is a part 3 to this date.

Scott's POV

Chapter 3

My buddies and I were just driving around aimlessly that Friday night. We started driving around St. Louis and eventually crossed the Mississippi River and into Illinois. We'd been in Illinois for about 25 minutes when my friend Tyler, who was driving, got a phone call from his girlfriend Shelby. Apparently Shelby and some of her friends (all of whom are dating my buddies) were in the same area we were. Everybody decided to head over to the nearest Steak n' Shake for a late night meal.

When we got there, it was pretty empty except for another group of 7. Tyler picked the back table, which happened to be across from the other group. I looked over at that group as I walked to my group's table. There was one guy my eye was drawn too. He was laughing at something someone in his group had said, man what a cute smile he had! I was the last one of my group to sit down so I made sure that I had a seat looking at that guy because everyone likes a good view when they eat!

Now for a little background on myself. I'm out to everybody in my life: friends, family, co-workers. Everyone was a little surprised since I've had a few girlfriends before but none lasted longer than a couple months. I've never asked a guy out or been on a date with one. My girl friends were always trying to get me to go to gay bars and clubs with them but I don't think that's really me scene.

So me and that guy at the other table kept making eye contact and then quickly looking away. I don't really have the best gay-dar but I was getting the feeling he was checking me out. I could see that they were getting ready to leave so I quickly gained the courage and went over there and asked him out. I was so relieved he said yes and that I didn't just embarrass myself. We exchanged numbers and decided to go out the next Friday.

I spent all week thinking about what to do on the date. Calvin wasn't 21 so that eliminated going to a bar. I wanted to keep the date in his town so that if he wasn't having a good time, we wouldn't have to sit through an awkward car ride back. A friend suggested a big arcade place called Theodore's so I drove over one night to check it out and thought it was perfect. I also checked out some local restaurants because I thought dinner, while its a dating cliche, would be a good start.

Friday finally came and I was becoming more and more nervous as it got closer for me to go pick Calvin up. I texted him that I was outside his building and a few minutes later he was walking out the door. He looked great! We got in my car and started driving. I kept stealing glances over at him as I drove. I knew I really wanted to kiss him but wanted to do it at the perfect time. We got to dinner and it went great! We talked forever, hardly ever any silence went between us. At Theodore's we played laser tag. That's when the perfect time came. Calvin's lips were so soft and he was such a great kisser, I didn't ever want to stop! This guy was making me fall and if he knew it, it didn't show.

Nice idea of seeing Scott's POV, Accord. Still need to find out if there was a part 3 to the date. I certainly hope so.....:-)

Chapter 4

It had been a few weeks since Scott and I went on our first date and we're still going strong. We've gone out a bunch of different times, each one being just as good as the last, and we hung out at his place quite a bit too. We'd mostly just lay on his couch and watch movies and just enjoy each others company. Even though we had been dating for a few weeks, Scott had yet to meet any of my friends. Of course the curiosity on both sides about the other was building, my friends asked a lot of questions about Scott and vice versa. I had tried to set up a dinner with me, Scott and Jamie because Jamie was my best friend so I thought that she should be the first to meet him. But that ended up not working since Jamie was called into work at the last minute. I think Scott was feeling worried that he hadn't met my friends so that meant I was thinking we were just having a fling.

I was getting ready to go out to dinner with friends when Scott called me:

"Hey babe what’s up"

"Hey just getting ready to go out with some friends. Do you want to come?"

"You want me to meet your friends?" There was a slight sound of surprise in his voice

"Of course I do! We're doing dinner in the city anyways so I'll pick you up and we'll head to the restaurant."

"OK, I'll see you in about a half hour!" he exclaimed. I was so happy that he sounded happy to meet everyone. I don't know why exactly but I always felt that something bad was going to happen when both parties came together. Like I was one person with my friends and a totally different person when it was just me and Scott and them meeting meant that my two conflicting personalities would come face to face and call the other a fraud.

"So we get to meet Scott tonight?" Jamie asked behind me excitedly.

"It's sounding like it" I replied.

"Don't worry I'm sure everyone will love him!"

"I'm not worrying!" I shot back

"Yea ok" Jamie replied giving me her signature knowing look. Okay so Jamie was right, I was worrying about Scott meeting my friends. "So do I get to pick him up with you or am I riding with the others?"

"I think I'm going to pick him up alone but thanks for the offer." By this time Cameron, Bobby, Robin and Nicole were standing with me and Jamie in the lobby of our building. Nicole is the only friend going to dinner who didn't see Scott that night at Steak n' Shake. She was very excited to finally see what this guy looked like.

"Ok, everyone's here so lets go" Bobby said

"Wait how are we going to decide who is going with who?" Robin asked.

"Well actually all of you are riding together, I'm going to pick up Scott and we'll meet you guys at the restaurant." I explained. Everyone walked out to the parking lot. My friends all got in Jamie's car and me in mine. Both cars made their way to their desired locations. I was about ten minutes from Scott's apartment so I called him to let him know how close I was.

"Hey babe, I’m all ready and just waiting for you." he said when he picked up the phone. I just loved when he called me babe!

"I'm about ten minutes away."

"Ok sweet, See ya in a little!" Scott responded hanging up the phone. A little bit later I was parked outside of Scott's building waiting for him to come down. Scott walked outside, got in my car and we made our way to the restaurant.

"So are you nervous to meet everyone?" I asked as we drove.

"To be honest, yeah I am. I'm afraid that one of them won't like me which would be the end of us.

"You don't have to worry about that" I replied placing my hand on his knee "The only friend whose opinon matters even a little bit is Jamie's and that's just because she's my best friend. But I'm pretty sure she'll like you. The others will probably like you but it doesn't matter to me if they don't."

"You saying that makes me feel so much better about all of this." he said as he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.

By that time we had made it to the restaurant and I could see the group waiting for us in the lobby. We walked in and the hostess sat us. Since we were a bigger group, we got seated at a circle table. Once had sat down, ordered drinks and their food I decided to start the meet and greet.

"Ok everybody this is Scott. And Scott this is Jamie, my best friend" I said pointing to my left. "And then that's Robin, Jamie's roommate, then Cam, Bobby who is my roommate and last but not least is Nicole." Everybody gave a wave and a little form of hello to going along with their introduction.

"So Scott I don't know if you remember or not but all of us besides Nicole were at Steak n' Shake that night you met Calvin." Cam said. Scott looked around the table before he responded, probably getting better looks at everybody's face.

"Um sorry I don't really remember; I was kinda a little bit distracted" he said with a chuckle. Scott's admission to only looking at me made me blush, turning my whole face red. Wow he was the sweetest guy I thought to myself. I wasn’t the only one that was affected by Scott's statement. There were some 'awes' coming from Bobby and Robin, Jamie smiled a big smile at me and nudged my side with her elbow and Nicole let out a, 'Oh my gosh that is so precious.' Scott just smiled and grabbed my knee underneath the table.

"Oh OK...I kinda figured" Cameron responded as he looked down at his food. The night was going great, I don't know why I had been so worried about everyone meeting. Towards the end Scott excused himself to go use the bathroom and a little bit later Cameron had to go too. This left me, Jamie, Robin, Bobby and Nicole sitting at the table.

"So what do you guys think?" I asked.

"He seems like a really great guy! I'm so happy for you!" Jamie squealed as she threw her arms around me.

"Yea he is a nice guy and seems to give your sarcasm right back" Robin said.

"Scott seems cool" Bobby said.

"Calvin, he is wonderful! And he is so cute too! If he wasn't gay I'd try to steal him away from you" Nicole exclaimed.

"Wow, thanks guys! I was worried that you guys wouldn't like him but I guess I was just being a worry-wart. And Nicole even if he wasn't gay, you'd still have Michael to think about" I said reminding Nicole of her boyfriend. It was this time that Scott was on his way back to the table and Cam was about a few feet behind him. It looked like Scott's hair had been messed up and quickly put back in place. I also noticed Cam was acting a little different; he would never meet my eye. I wonder what happened in the bathroom. My mind went straight to sex, the reason Scott and Cam went to the bathroom so close together was for a quickie. Cam did sit right across from Scott at dinner and a couple times I saw Cam's stare linger on him a lot longer than an appropriate amount. But I wasn't going to question it in the middle of the busy restaurant; I'd have to wait for the car ride home.

Hey sorry about the way that chapter is formatted. I copied and pasted it and that's the way it turned out.

Oh oh! I don't know if I'm going to like the ride home. But then again, I'm being the worry-wart. There has to be a good reason and I'll wait for Scott to explain if there is anything to explain. Strange how we tend to read things into a situation. Maybe it is just our insecurities. I hope that's the case. Great update, Accord.

Not to worry about the format.
