Cats

I had friends who had a notice on their oven door to check for cat before using! The oven was old and the door was weak enough that the biggest cat could get on top and push it down -- which he would do after the oven had been used and when it had cooled enough he would open it and cats would hop in to enjoy the warmth.

Another friend had an awesome idea about toilet paper: she unrolled about two feet worth then used paper clips to keep it from unrolling more. The cat attacked this as usual, got about two feet of paper off and then it stopped and tore off. He spiun it a couple of more times with no result, then backed off and pounced on the small pile on the floor, "wrestled" with it for a while, then ran around the house alternately dragging and pouncing on it. Once he had it all shredded she waited a day and rigged the roll again.

This is cruel--

Okay. Here's the thing.

I am suffering a wrenched back from playing 'Throw the Mouse'....but I still make a small effort.

Over the past week though, as Mizzy tires out, she will bring her Maus to the water bowl and drop him in it. And have a drink and then at some point, retrieve him. And of course he is very wet.

I am trying to figure out whether she is working on a CPR badge...or whether she thinks Mousie needs a drink too...but now we have all these wet stuffed mice that don't fling well.

One of mine has been doing that. I’ve never seen it being done but stepping on a soaking wet too in the middle of the night isn’t fun :ROFLMAO:

If you figure it out, can you tip us a post? We have these wet mice drying out all over now.

Maybe it is a Tabby thing?

They put them in the bathtub all the time too. Maybe they think they need a bath?
