A very interesting new item from CBS regarding Benghazi: WH Benghazi emails have different quotes than earlier reported. Here is a critical passage:

The White House released the real emails late Wednesday. Here's what we found when we compared them to the quotes that had been provided by Republicans.

One email was written by deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes.

On Friday, Republicans leaked what they said was a quote from Rhodes: "We must make sure that the talking points reflect all agency equities, including those of the State Department, and we don't want to undermine the FBI investigation."

But it turns out that in the actual email, Rhodes did not mention the State Department. It read: "We need to resolve this in a way that respects all of the relevant equities, particularly the investigation."

Since the main GOP point has been that the White House messaged the message, it's quite ironic that they have been caught doing the same thing.
 
They are desperate to do something.
I have never really liked CBS. I found them, in the past, to be too conservative for my tastes.
But now with this report, I have to change my mind on that.

This is without a doubt one of the stupidest things you've ever come up with. Springer, you've been descending into lunacy in the last few months ever since President Obama's re-election. Your post is over-the-top desperation.

Yeah ... the emails from the White House aren't fully there ... they have big gaps.

Where are the references to the youtube video the cause of the killings and riot?
 
Just heard the e-mails were possibly doctored by certain congressmen, no doubt republicans.

CBS apparently didn't "obtain" the emails either.

The plot thickens. Wonder which republican congressmen will be arrested and jailed for this?

Everyone knew this Benghazi noise was nothing and there wasn't a scandal at all.
 
Again, enough with the sideshow of trying to change the subject. You apparently take your ideas from places like MSNBC. I'm watching UP w/Steve Kornacki right now. They are not discussing the scandals -- they are discussing how evil republicans and some media are because they are about talking about the scandals.

Have you even read anything about what happened?

Benghazi is a serious matter because the Administration purposely lied about the issue of terrorism, allowing 4 Americans to die without support and their effort to cover it up until after the election.

You and others here continually want to make it about the 2012 election and Obama's victory however that win will now be tainted by how the Administration held back information about the IRS targeting conservative groups and how they focused to blame the deaths of 4 Americans on a video and not on a terrorist attack.

Obama will never be impeached -- he should be embarrassed and ashamed of the actions of his Administration, however, I doubt that could ever happen because of his arrogance.

If you and the others here are going to defend the President and his Administration at least be honest about it and don't try to change the subject --- tell us the reasons you defend him.


PS: Kornacki is definitely not ready for prime time.
