Thing is that the kind of people who are really into American Idol are all so clueless that they wouldn't notice something like that anyway.. they're all so desensitized to the world around them by seeing Coke and Exxon sponsor the two Gulf Wars.

Or maybe we could sell the names of the wars to a corporate sponsor, kind of like they do with world tours and baseball stadiums. Instead of the Iraq War it could be the Coca Cola Offensive TM. And they could air commercials showing soldiers enjoying a Coke after the heat of battle.
Now there's an idea. Advertisements on tanks.

not exactly sure who gets the money.
I assume the same folks that get all the profits from Graceland, and the gift shops and all....

Just to clear something up, you did NOT see an Celine Dion/Elvis Presley duet. A duet is two people singing together, playing off each other. (The Frank Sinatra CD "Duets"? No duets on there, either.) What you saw was Celine Dion performing karaoke. Very well, I should point out, but that's all it was.

Jesus like her or not she has an amazing voice, and an amazing talent and she deserves at least some respect for being one of the most successful female recording artists of all time (and doing it without the help of her tits and ass like a lot of other popular singers nowadays...well she doesn't really have any tits or ass, but you get the point). I don't think Elvis had the most pleasant voice, but he deserves my respect nonetheless.

Celine Dion has a new song called "Taking Chances", it's on iTunes and I'm sure it can probably be found elsewhere online as well. I'm still hoping to catch her show in Vegas before it ends in December. But I'm psyched that she's back with a new album!

Yeah the song is awesome! I had a chance to attend an album preview in August and it's a different sound for her! The Vegas show is amazing, but you might have problems getting tickets since there's only about 25ish performances left over the next few months. I have tickets to the last show and I'm super excited! Album comes out November 13th btw.
