I got an infraction on another site for no reason, i made a post and was later scolded i had to add reasons even tho its not a specific rule and not made clearly enough. If your gonna have rules at least try to make others able to understand them.

Has anyone been sent an email by JUB censoring their comments? I find it ironic that because of freedom of speech/expression has allowed site likes JUB to exist to feel they need to censor/warn people isn't that sorta hypocritical?

Not at all. I am assuming that you are talking about 'freedom of speech/expression' according to the US Constitution. That doesn't exist here, not only because JUB is a private forum, but it is also global. Your version of 'freedom of speech/expression' ceases to exist at your keyboard.

One thing I've learned is to add a smiley or wink when you're joking. People get away with saying some awful things by adding an emoticon....

Its worrying me that I'm agreeing more and more with MIL lately - either I'm chillaxing, or he is!!!

This is something that I've always said about the net. In 'real' life we have the luxury of vocal intonation and facial expressions. These help the listener to understand what the speaker is trying to relay. The problem with the written word is that there are no clues as to the sentiment behind it - which is why we provide emoticons to help ie.

The first two are how the comment was taken, the second two are probably how it was meant. The difference is points, a warning or no action!!!

Now I am being told that a picture I posted was offensive! For christ's sake (sorry for offending christians) the picture was posted on a post where the guy was talking about how shitty his friends ass tasted!
