I just read on Janta that the NFL Superbowl is trying to force entertainers to perform a tribute to Charlie Kirk. Several big name singers have already balked at it as a condition of hire. When and IF it hits the national media, it will be another huge stink from this pit.

I suspect that there is still a performative aspect to some of this at the moment. Organizations and individuals talking big talk but as time goes on, not walking the walk.

Given how quickly US americans move on from most shooting events, the buzz over this one should fade in a few more weeks when the media just can't milk it anymore.
