Would any of you prefer the word "Shil"? How about "Sell-out"? Whichever more politically correct term you prefer, Chelsea is campaigning for her mom, making her open to public scrutiny, as it would anyone.

Now, the term as used was a bit of a mis-step, lacking a bit of thought, but certainly a figure of speech, not at all meant in a literal sense. This society is on the wrong track when it comes to language, and political correctness.

And I just knew that the Sally's in this audience would be screeching like always. Just look, over 60 responses. You are owned, fed, and at the whim of your media. It's pathetic!

It plays into the Clinton playbook though. The poor victims, again.

It's a generational language thing on one level. To some younger folk, pimping as a word isn't offensive and, is some respects, has lost its sexual origins, e.g. pimping a ride. But most people know that parents and many other fok still object to the word, especially in the context of their daughter. So, usuing it about a young woman, even in a political compaign, is trying to be offensive.

Also, it the same old sexual code that anti-Clintonites always drop, like a fart at a dinner table. I do blame Clinton for not keeping it in his pants and for lying about it, but, unless you're a sexual wing-nut, it's not the worse thing he could have done. And, to keep on beating the same drum, directly and indirectly is pathetic (Romney with his fears of what Bill might do in the White House with nothing to do, etc.).

I don't remember ever reading about George W. pimping his bar fly daughters, but it's ok to talk about Chelsea in those terms because it remind everyone yet again that Bill is a sexual sleaze and so those around him must be morally loose, blah, blah.

Imagine the commentator coming out with this stuff about your sister or some young woman or man important to you. The guy deserves to get kicked out.

Bush was called a killer because of his unnecessary and badly managed war in Iraq that resulted in thousands and thousands of deaths of innocent people. People were killed because of his action. You or others may believe the action he took in Iraq was justified, but the fact remains Bush, Commander in Chief, decision-maker, is responsible for the killing of thousands of innocents.

President and Senator Clinton are not pimps and Chelsea Clinton is not a whore. Unless you also believe Barack Obama is a pimp and his wife Michelle is a whore. And I think that characterization, in all cases, is disgusting and degrading and disrespectful -- and most importantly undeserved.
