Jews supporting a Jewish, democrat socialist/marxist is hardly news. When Hitler was struggling to come to power, the Communists were usually ahead, and they were supported by many/most Jews--no not all. It's coming from the survivors themselves.
Trump's campaign has many of the similarities to the Nazi Party in the early 1920s, when no one not even Hitler and his followers had an idea of what they would be doing in 20 years.

WTF? You actually went there. Go back to Stormfront already. They're missing you.Jews supporting a Jewish, democrat socialist/marxist is hardly news. When Hitler was struggling to come to power, the Communists were usually ahead, and they were supported by many/most Jews--no not all.
The Chicago riots, democrats versus Trump supporters did remind one of the fights between communists and nazis leading to Hitler coming to power. Indeed, the single most important factor bringing Hitler to power was the threat of communism; it brought him the unlikely support of bourgeois, churches, land owners, intelligence and military.
At what point should Hitler have been stopped?

...Republicans are more strongly patriotic and more devoted to the Constitution and democracy than democrats and are by nature libertarian--except for traditional morality. They are not fascist and would not allow Trump to become one.
a new low for you, Ben
I am not sure what you are disagreeing with. American Jews have historically voted democrat, and did so when the democrats were the party of slavery and the jim crow laws. And, American communism was largely Jewish. The party was founded by Emma Goldman and it contented to attract Jewish adherents even after they knew what communism was. Remember the Rosenbergs, David Greenglass and Harry Gold? And the hated blacklist. Sander grew up in that generation and his angry hateful speeches speak of revolution and do not suggest that he has any appreciation for capitalism or democracy. I don't know what he is deep down, and neither do you.
What are you talking about?
When theological debate over slavery finally erupted during the Civil War, abolitionist rabbis quickly shouted down the bigots, and the Jewish community supported the party of Lincoln until massive waves of Eastern European immigrants around the turn of the century. Jews were discriminated against in the South during the Jim Crow era and so Jews played a major in the civil rights movement including the march on Washington. At that time there were two Democratic parties, one each in the North and South. The northern one was progressive, which along with the NAACP supported northerner Woodrow Wilson, and had nothing to do with Jim Crow.
Judah Benjamin was the Confederate Secretary of the Interior. Even as you say from the massive waves at the turn of the century, through the Jim Crow laws and the Ku Klux Klan years down to today, most Jews voted almost as a block for democrats, as did The Irish and Catholics in general. There was a temporary split during the Civil War, and another whenTruman ran, but both times it was brief. Many of the groups accusing the Republicans of being KKK--which they never were--are groups which knowingly allied with the KKK when it was most powerful.
Moderates aren't wanted in the Republican party. Look at what happened to Colin Powell. Look at how far right McCain went between his 2000 election run and his 2008 run.The Democrat party has abandoned the KKK over the last half century... Not sure about the tea party faction of the Republicans though.
Which is a pity, moderate Republican voices being overwhelmed by far-right activists.

You didn't read a single word of my post.
And Judah Benjamin doesn't represent the Jewish community.
