Chick-fil-A line-ups out the door into the streets

Hungry biggots.... Most are so fat they can;t be gay even if they wanted to... "yuck"!

I hope most gays are fit but
i believe there are so many fat gays too ... thats the sad part.

Wouldn't it be funny if Heaven and Hell were real places and everyone that went to support Chick-fil-a yesterday went to Hell.

Only in the United States could a fast food outlet become 'code' for political and sociological identity, and also become the new front-line in the ongoing polarised ideological war of attrition that now permanently ravages the country on a daily basis, with each side desparately ramping up their respective propaganda campaigns by rallying the sheeple to the cause with their latest right-wing sermons or their newest left-wing 'clever' slogans, each of which are far more about shoring up the ranked masses on their own side than ever about convincing the opposite side.

And so the far-right airwaves and far-left websites ramp up their daily talking points for easy regurgitation and distribution, and the individual restaurants become the new battleground in the 'us vs them' war, as the religious moralists queue round the block for the latest biblical sermon and fries to go, no doubt to be counter-attacked soon by the legions of gay 'love-in' protestors and 'kiss-me-quick' day trippers intent not so much on equality but more on infuriating, insulting and alienating the other side as much as possible.

All I see being played out on the TV screens and the pictures is an almost theatrical performance. One where the people from both sides that protest the most or dutifully turn out in front of the cameras with their placards and slogans for the massed media are precisely the ones that have been the most brainwashed.

Whether it be political, religious, or moral, I see this effect becoming more and more pronounced with every passing year in America, and I find it quite disturbing and alarming.

Ideology is replacing rational thought.

I hate them because those fuckers are closed on Sundays. Well I don't hate them, I just don't see what's the big deal about their food. It's ok but at their prices it should be spectacular which it isn't.

its sad, I agree its more than hurting a company's fucking feelings. Its just fucking sad I mean just because the constitution guarantees your right to be a bigot, should you? Is the average American supposed to stand up for the rights of the discriminator? I just dont know anymore, why are we even hating ourselves? While it would be nice to speed up this transition, of course in 50 years these people will (history tells the truth) be dead and so will their fleeting, outdated, incorrect ideas. There will always be the minority of reactionaries but the majority will change. It is a sad eventuality but these people will never know true love for all mankind so long as they have and harbor hatred in themselves in the name of a fruitless cause. They just need to die. Their loved ones will mourn them for another generation or two but they will fade away from the minds of the people and their ideas will be fucking dead too. Why cant we all just grow some fucking brains and understand that we humans need to love ourselves! I am so fucking stoked all the time on other people, no matter what they are. Even the worst deviants who commit terrible crimes, I do not believe they are just evil. I pity them; it takes nature and nurture and hatred and isolation to turn people and we all need to give love and positivity. We need to blame ourselves for the world not random groups who are the hated flavor of the month.

i don't know if anybody has heard about this incident but this is creating a huge buzz on the web. #-o

i don't know if this guy goes to this site or if he's a gay rights activist or whatever the case but in the last big thread about chick-fil-a, i mentioned somebody possibly doing something like this and it ending up backfiring and having dire consequences. there's nothing wrong with voicing disapproval of chick-fil-a as a company for the whole tossing money to anti-gay organizations hell bent on rmaking us gay people's lives hell, doing boycotts and etc HOWEVER it would be a bad move for someone to take it out on someone who works at a chick-fil-a. they have nothing to do with what the guy in charge of the company is doing. they just happen to work there. they're just a pawn. there's ways to express disapproval of the company without having to attack someone who just works there. you would think this guy would be smart enough to know better as a college professor and worst off, to tape it and to put it on youtube with your name on the video. not only did he look stupid harassing a worker over something that she has nothing to do with thinking that she shared the same views as the ceo did (guilty by association) but he also lost his job over it.

*cough*

Even though I dropped from 450 to 325 in over a year, I still medically qualify as "fat".

Meh, I think you are cute as hell either way handsome ;)
And as far as this whole Chick-fil-A thing - I just don't know how to even comment on it. Its quite said that their are so many people in this world with hatred in their hearts. I truly hope they all reap what they sow-- ignorant fucking, mindless sheep.

I wholeheartedly agree. Whilst his attitude was just reprehensible, I have troubles with an employer firing someone over what he said especially when not 'on-the-clock'.

In the tough job market that presents us, I don't think we can fault anyone for working anywhere. Many have no choice. I don't fault the gay man working for cock-fuk-a; he's working to pay his bills.

I'm going to send that to the "conservative" Roman Catholic gal who bombards my mom and me with Santorum and Bachmann stuff.

I wouldn't waste the time - I doubt she'd won't understand.
