Idealistic? Perhaps a bit. While I may only have half of the life experiences you may have, as far as tolerance goes and at least on JUB/Gay Community, they've shown me the same thing. Although I'm not sure what you think about what you've been shown, I would agree the same thing was shown. For me, the "Do as I say, not as I do" attitude that some regard towards tolerance and respect is obvious hypocrisy.

Personally, Chris Crocker in the combo of the make-up, the hair and desperately seeking attention is, quite frankly, ugly, but funny at times. However, it would be more than a bit idealistic for me to ignore the fact that people like him really exist. To want, in the community, only those who meet what is expected is impractical. Then to hate or to wish extermination on a life I don't find agreeable and really only understand it to be annoying is senseless. In short, there is no good use in that, but I don't expect everyone to see that.
