I don't "hate" Chris Crocker. I think he's annoying, narcissistic, self-absorbed, and an attention-seeker. If I met Chris Crocker, I would have absolutely nothing to talk about with him because we have almost nothing in common. I feel the same way about Steven Daigle, and I have stated so many times before in this forum.

Read the part where I specifically state it's the people who can't stand Chris Crocker who seem to be doing the most work in giving Chris free advertisement.

Are you serious? The only reason why Chris Crocker became famous was because he was so "over the top" and dramatic in that "Leave Britney alone" video.

I don't think you read that article with the sarcasm that was intended. Zach was writing about the crazy "tips" he got from an e-mail and how completely OFF BASE they were.

NO ONE is going to actually pay that kind of money upfront for an unknown Z-list Internet personality. That doesn't mean they would turn away any publicity that the rumors generate.

It is a few months until they start production and gay porn landscape changes constantly.

By the time they start production I suspect Dylan Roberts will have returned. Jason Adonis will have returned , retired, and returned again. There will be two new kids born to the Next Door guys and they will sign 3 new exclusives - all straight. Cliff Jensen will be remanded to the State of Florida to serve out his time. Suite 703 will relaunch...again...but still not pay performers. Diesel Washington will have 14 Twitter meltdowns. Fabscout will bail 32 models out of jail, forgive Brodie Sinclair, sign 42 gay4pay models and fire 13 gay models.


In short, nothing in porn is stable and their are many party weekends between now and then. When production starts then I'll believe what I hear. Right now it is all hype/rumor.

I should say that I totally support Chris and Chi Chi. I hope that it is successful and more "celebrities" are encouraged to extend their "fame" by doing porn.

I just disagree that Chris's brand of marketing will work now. The internet has become so deluged with this type of thing that it doesn't resonate like it once did.

They say lightening does not strike the same place twice and I believe that while the blogs will revisit the story. Chris will never be able to generate that kind of marketing now.

Off topic Allicide but Brodie Sinclair is having a public meltdown over at the Men of Porn blog over the comments you and another commenter named Estelle are making about him and his comments about Howard are not good to say the least. At this point, I would say his relationship with Howard is DOA. To Howard's credit though, Jason Crystal (and a thousand other names) begged Howard to get him work and I think Howard told him no.

In their heyday, top contract porn girls would make $100K a movie (Jenna Jameson). Those days are long since gone though, plus at that time a performer on Jameson's level at the time was guaranteed to bring in big $$$ in rentals and sales.

BTW ChiChi was interviewed on a blog last year and was asked about a performer who claimed they made $40k in a few months of being in the industry. ChiChi flat out said "HE'S LYING".

I think that porn fans will check out the free previews for the trainwreck value, but I doubt this will actually deliver in terms of actual sales. When Raging Stallion offered Ricky Martin $1million to do a porn film, the joke was that it was doubtful that Raging Stallion even had $100k to flat out give, much less $1 million.
