It is only by persisting in pushing everyone along the path of human rights, by disallowing the reduction of any population to 'the other' in order to de-humanize and demonize them, is critical to the survival of a free and open society.

You and pat have been arguing that bigotry is okay, and using a fallacious argument to try to fool everyone. Until there aren't any more people like that, or at least till they're rare enough it's almost impossible to encounter one, we need laws telling bigots they can't act on their bigotry.

A mature society wouldn't need those laws.
