I'm not a "supporter of Chrysler." I'd never buy a Chrysler, I have no stock in it and am not invested in its future.

The only reason any business survives is because its products are worth buying. I see your singular lack of enthusiam in Chrysler's products as disappointing, especially given amount of effort you put into scapegoating.

Chrysler's products don't interest me. Never have. And my interest or lack thereof is irrelevant to its success or failure, and also to the point I made in my post above.

And I do not believe the ends justify the means.

But if Obama, in an honorable way, turned Chrysler into a profitable business, sure I'd congratulate him for it. I'd congratulate anybody who did that.

yeah. after we funneled how many billions of dollars into them and was told it was "a loan". Many experts said it wasn't going to work but we did it anyway. I didn't want to see people lose their jobs and the communities suffer too. However the taxpayers threw billions of dollars down the drain and now they are bankrupt anyways.

I think they should have done it from the very beginning. Would have saved tons of money and the communities would have had several months to start recovering by now.

I've been pointing out for a long time how similar Bush and Obama are. And there it is again.

Obama is hobbled by the state of the finances in his fumbling attempts to solve the current crisis. You can promise things based on assumptions, that's what Obama did before he came to be elected. But when he viewed the true figures, he did tell you folks that it wasn't going to be easy. You've been forewarned, and I say, so its all moot, IMO.

But, I'm a British, we know we have smarmy leaders to begin with, and we don't have any truck with evangelising politicians.
