I've heard speakers at local GOP meetings advocate for burning gays at the stake. The official GOP stance only encourages that.

Laika isn't a mindless party apparatchik. He's a kid who most likely has lived a very pampered existence, doesn't have to work to pay his bills. In short, he hasn't really experienced the world. Some day, he may have to actually get a job and make his way in the world, reality will smack him in the face, and he may moderate his positions. Of course, he could be really rich and pampered and Mommy and Daddy will take care of him for the rest of his life, which will enable him to spend the rest of his existence in his stress free cocoon.

well I know this.

I am a true blue non afilliated voter and until the repubs get it together and tell me why they think gov't is intrusive in business and it should be protected, but then feels it necesary to intrude in my bedroom, I will consider them duplicitous and intellectually dishonest.

Laika here has pushed me closer to the dems than any dem could have. To see the daily rantings and childish insults hurled to deflect serious discussion, I completely get what the repubs in congress are all about. they are racists who only seem to want the first black president to fail and taking the country down the crapper in the process is okey dokey with them.

I know no one told them to go home because I have found mountains of pictoral evidence that they were there. It is a direct sort of logic. If they were told to go home, then no one would have been able to photograph them.

btw...those bush hitler signs were being used in european protests.

and yes, they should have been driven away... yelled down and told to leave. Absolutely.
